@smurfarooney2003 I Always add chilli flakes and a little extra garlic and olive oil. But the chili flakes definitely give the dish a little extra hit !!

Too robotic. Boo. Also, leave the water running over the clams for 20 minutes? Boo. How about soak in cold water for 5 minutes. Scrub well. Drain water. And then repeat as necessary until there is no sand or grit at bottom of bowl/sink.
