You mean OD has the fifth gear? The car is a 4 speed with overdrive, so OD is the fifth I believe. But in regular drive you get better higher RPM shifts? So it's better if you are racing?

@Quatermain98526 just go to a parking lot and practice counter steer and throttle control like controlled donuts and figure 8's I would start in the rain and work your way up to dry they are actually easy to control I did it almost everyday and my z28 had a blown stock suspension no abs due to a faulty abs sensor and it's an automatic now I have mickey t's on it and it don't let go at all and my 3rd gear clutch pack went so now it's a lawn orniment lol

@Quatermain98526 my 3rd gear blew from me going from dropping from over drive to drive alot since all my friends like to try thier luck racing from a roll and I'm not sure but my drag radials could have done some damage to and you will get used to it practice makes perfect just don't slam the gas in the rain they have alot of torque so they break traction easy I do it cuz I can control it but if you can't I don't suggest it

@Quatermain98526 od has the fourth gear and sometimes doesn't downshift when you hit the gas it also has the tendency to short shift, pretty much overdrive is just what you wanna use while driving and then drive if your racing just try not to blow it like I did but I never really was meant for an automatic my driving skills are up there I do alot of different styles of racing its weird I am rough on automatics but I'm very smooth with manuals go figure lol
