Has anybody thought about converting hho into electricity. I'm looking for info on a DIY level regarding building a PEM cell. I was considering storing some hho and then converting it into electricity for use in my home. Anybody else having those thoughts? A good way to get off the grid!!!
sounds interesting i have only heard of this happening i don't know how it would work though would love to give it a shot for now here is a video of my new torch
why flip the barb or cell i have a bigger opening on one end for the flow of my water than the end for my gas so i was wondering what you seen that would have me flip flop i think i did it all good but if you see something please let me know
hho expands 1ml to 1860ml of hho, so you will bring in a very small amount of water, whereas there will be a much larger volume of hho leaving, gases like an easy path to flow from so the bigger one at the top and smaller at the bottom just makes more sense to me thats all.
ok i understand what you are saying i didn't know what you explained to me b4 but now i do thanks for the info my barbs are 2 different sizes so the holes won't allow me to switch barbs but i'm thinking of adding another exact similar cell so 2 total and see what i get i'm still in desperate search of a powering device know anyone local with a 20-30 amp variac for cheap let me know trade some stuff whatever i need one and bridge rectifier 35amp
i don't tell people what i'm doing local just family but they all think it's an awsome idea and they don't believe i'm gonna actually achieve greatness with these experiments which i don't care just gives me something to prove them wrong on lol :)
lol i just got a load of electronics im uploading in a min just got home from oicking them up please see my other vids shortly thanks for the compliment
1500ma = 1.5 Amps. Thought that might help ya. Im impressed with the cell. When you showed us the stack of steel on your table I wondered what you were gonna do. Im pretty sure the cutting boards will warp badly over some time. Even still theyre a good idea. And what did people do before JB Weld-
love your builds. keep it up please and checkout MillionDollarCinema (dot) com

HydroMoto makes a good point ... problem with the chopping boards is that they are a bit thin and the plastic has a bit of give to it ...
but that is a very fine looking piece of gear ... you have come a long way in your fabrication technique ...
DO NOT USE THAT BRIDGE RECTIFIER ... IT IS WAY TOO SMALL ...
I suggest you get one of the ones off eBay that were rated for 400v at 35a ... those are strong enought for what you are doing ...
