@havoc1310 Honestly, Green Day and The Offspring both were very successful at the same time, 1994. This is when Green Day had Dookie and The Offspring had Smash. Those records both went many times platinum and made them very successful bands. Both bands started the punk-pop movement which still is around today with these two bands still selling really well. It's just Green Day is more mainstream than The Offspring, in my opinion.

This album also have another sound, but it still sounds like Offspring, and it's 100% Offspring. Some slow songs, some fast songs, some soft songs, some hard songs - and it's all Offspring. Not a fan of this one. Only a couple songs sound any good. I don't really understand why people say it's a Greenday cover, but it's definitely not uite the Offspring I like. Songs like Hammerhead show that they are still true to the past sound, but this new direction in songs like Fix You and all those slow, emotionally induced songs just don't cut when you compare them to songs like Gone Away or Meaning of Life. Overall, I might download some tracks, but it's not worth buying the whole CD.
