  • When you say inspect the cases before and after, what do you look for? I am curious, thank you.

  • I use 7.62x100 African

  • where do you find 7.62x54r brass ive looked every were..... what bullet do you use i can only find the .308 in the diameter... or .310 its around 190 gr thanks....great video.

  • Most of my components are from the local shop called THE POWDERHORN. Everthing else from Midwayusa.

  • @dills2403 why would you reload 7.62x54r thats like relodeing a .22 thers no point

  • @NCSGDIZZYSHOOTER21 theres no point hahaha you obviously dont reload... First there is the accuracy improvement i would receive from reloading .... second most surplus ammo is corrosive...third do a lilttle resaerch before you come at me with a retarded qeustion like that....Fourth because i can....

  • @dills2403 i have maybe 200 7.62x54r brass, they were included in a trade deal i did, but i will never use them, u still looking for them?

  • 7.62x54r the r means rim (dont know why it means rim not russian)

  • it means rim because there is a rim on the case that is wider than the case unlike other cases that have a recessed slot above the based for a flushed rim.

  • it means russian... pick up any ammo magazine.... or google it...

  • anybody no how to empty the gun powder out 1 them shells trying to make some necklaces and stuff, message me back if any thoughts on how to.

  • wel you could do a few things

you could go to your local gun store and buy any type of brass you wanted and purchase a bullit to fit it. from there glue the bullit into place. This is what I would do.

    2. If you have one, you could use a tool that decaps the bullit from brass. These are used by people who load their own rounds so they can take them apart if they mess up. The easies thing would be to buy bras from a gun shop and drill a hole in by the base for the chain

    hope this helped

  • just go to a gun range and get the used brass

  • @TeamSamson888 You could use a bullet puller. Cabelas has them in stock

  • I don't do much shooting myself but I got such a deal on the brand new loader that I couldn't pass it up.I'll go for the tumbler though, thanks for your advice.

  • Is there a way to do this by hand, like getting the media and shake them in a coffee can for a few hours?

I've just bought the Lee progressive 1000, if I have to get the tumbler too I will.

  • Get the tumbler. Get media for cleaning and treated media for polish. The only other way of cleaning the brass is to use Iosso case cleaner which is good for low volume reloading. Since you got the progressive get the tumbler.
