According your question: The switch has no blue LEDs after manufacture. If you have no knowledge in programming microcontrollers it would be a hard job to do this. With just one behavior (all on) it's easy. The risk is nearly at zero. I used sticky tapes zu fix the custom stuff :p
BTW: I've added an image of the custom electronics in the "further information" box on the right side of the video.
I' m interesting buying this switch, can you tell me please if you' re satisfied? What about the speed?? Can it get 600Mbps????

@nimakos1 I have the bigger version DGS-1008D, now. The 1008 transfers about 850Mbit/s (~110Mb/s).
Mind that your Hard Drive might be a limiting component :)

I have bought these switches but there opzit no LED customization or have you that to fit and have still a question at me fire none risky /act?
