  • It is a very funny book. I loved the history of the trail and the geology . I believe they are the oldest mountains on earth once towering higher than Everest but since worn down after 250 million years.

  • Absolutely loved this book! Haven't done much hiking in years, and don't know when I'll get the time, but hiking the AT is definately on my to do list now. A funny and informative good read.
