(New2 youtube)U are my hair idol.PLZ HELP ME. I try 2watch videos but, get confused. Im so sad. HAD2 cut 5in cuz a beautician pressd my hair &it didnt go back nappy. Im stayn away from heat but now its only 2in &seems its not growing.Will u plz tell me ur specific regimen(shampoo, conditioner, products, measurements, daily moisturizer etc)? @lanicert I always thought it would, until I tried it. It actually keeps the moisture during the shampoo.

do you do prepoos when you are in your mini twists? am thinking of doing it soon; i'll see how it goes. i usually prepoo with coconut oil. it has made such a diff for my hair. oh, and cats are always a trip. in my mini twists video, my kitty just HAD to make an appearance. he was fine the entire time until the camera started rolling. lol gotta love the attention whores. :-)

I used the shea moisture deep treatment as a leave-in moisturizer and if u add some coconut oil over it it may be a decent pre-poo! I hate to throw away a product and the only time i do is if its something with ingredients i refuse to put in my hair!

@MsSong2U it has challenges. There are some styles that I liked when it was shorter that look weird now. lol Just enjoy whatever length you have. I think I'll cut it eventually, but for now I kinda want to see how long it can get.

I like it as a deep conditioner and to do my twists, just as long as I don't need hold, the twist come out so soft and bouncy

omg!! i just got a shih zu puppy a few weeks ago and i had no idea what to name him so i put in on facebook and one of my friends said domino so thats what i named him but it has been bothering me because it seemeed like someone else had a pet with that name and i just realized it was you. ^.^

How often do you trim your hair and how do you do it?

@nomakeupcutie Not very often. I just trim when I notice issues with split ends. I do it maybe 2 or 3 times a year. I do medium sized twists and snip the ends. AFRICANEXPORT does a video with a similar technique.

@Summyr1988 No, you guys have to use it as a styler, that's the only way I use it and I LOVE it!!! It's my staple styler. It provides soooo much moisture. I didn't like it as a deep treatment either, it sucks that way lol

Hi, I follow you all the time. Can you do a video on how you do your twists without seeing the parts? When i do my twists you can not see the parts on the side but you can see them on the crown of my head.. Maybe if I see you do that part of your head, it might help me.

I use the deep treatment mask as my prepoo as well. I figure doing my deep conditioning first works best for my hair, then shampoo, followed up by a moisture conditioning.

I've heard black tea rinses reduce shedding...gorgeous thick hair though, so you probably aren't missing it, lol

@tokyosuni I feel the same way about my hair. We see it everyday, so we don't notice growth. I can only tell when I look at pictures. Just be patient and take pics to document the progress.

I do the same thing! using your body heat to deep condition or prepoo, its fun and you don't spend money on a dryer lol. I haven't used heat on my hair in months. This no heat thing is proving to be really cool :D Awesome video Summyr!
