here will always be dissenters who take it too far, but they do not represent Anonymous as a whole. The DDoS attacks and such were merely to get media attention.

First off, You, like everyone else, has no bloody idea what Anonymous is. If you did, you'd know a threat like "we will destroy you" would get you laughed at.

Anonymous isn't doing this for fame, or money. If they were, why would they remain Anonymous? Anonymous does this because the one thing most of it agrees on is free speech.
