  • You are so American, its staggering! I love it. Happy 4th

  • Excellent video and wonderful tribute to our fallen and living heroes. I especially liked the real aircraft sound effect at the end...nice touch. Thanks!

  • I love exploring on 2 wheels like that. Just curious, don't you use the Insta-Trike wheels anymore on the Goldwing?

  • That's a cryin shame that old truck just rotting away like that...

  • @rich6955 I agree! Your looking great!

  • Thank you Dave for this nice video. Happy 4th to you and many more.

  • eyes on the road dave, thats how i hit a lamp post, lol.i hope to go to usa one day it looks awsome ,if any of that road side stuff was over here it would get vandalsed and messed up in a week,,nice vid dave cheers

  • that bike sure is a cadillac!

  • so glad i subscribed you. happy summer.

  • very nice video, thanks for sharing

  • thanks for the tour ...i miss Iowa

  • Ever fly an RC plane along side your bike while going down the road?

  • Thank you Dave for your years of service.

  • @raykiii Thanks very much. I appreciate that a lot.

  • When we were stationed at CNIC is the 80's my best friends dad had a Goldwing. At the time it was the epitome of engineering and craftsmanship.

I am glad you have a chance to own one.

  • @antsp1 Thanks, It still is and one of only a few Motorcycle engines that are FAA approved for aircraft flight. I am also glad to own one.

  • I hope you used a helmet camera while shooting the footage on your bike in motion.

  • @boldger13 Nope, I just Velcro it to the dash and grab it when I need it.

  • hey mr herbert im turning 17 in a couple of weeks and am trying to get back into the hobby of rc helicopters i would like a trex 450 clone for my birthday but dad says i need to see how good it is first so m question is are you able to do a flight and whats in the box review on the titan 450 cheers ben

    PS it is on ebay.com.au

  • @heliman450 That is a good heli, but I doubt I will buy one, as I am getting back into gas a lot. If you already know how to fly helis, fine, but it is not a good idea to start out on a 3d heli to learn. I say, learn on a VW and if you never crash it, then get the Porsche. Good luck.

  • Awesome video as always.

  • Loved this big brother.... loved the antique filling station.... looks like you had a really nice day... being an R.N. I especially liked the tribute to the Nurse Corps..... and I agree with the previous poster that you should wear a helmet.... how much is your brain worth? Bryan got rear-ended on his motorcycle just sitting at a stop sign.... you never know what or who might cause an accident when you least expect it.......

  • @bearinstincts Thanks, Deb. This is probably the least dangerous thing I do, especially when flying helicopters. And as you can see, there is not much traffic here, so sometimes you just have to be free. Thanks for caring though. Glad you liked it. ~bro~

  • As much as I love your rc videos, and I DO, I also love your "Man Around Town" videos. :)

  • @erikdravn You are very kind.

  • If only retirment started at 15 dave, if only....... ;)

  • Wow! Really nice road trip! One of the things I find interesting about "antiques"is how simple they were and yet how well they performed their task.As an auto mechanic,I'd love to see much simpler systems in use today. The public loves when all those "gee wizzy" gadjets work, but when they don't,they have no clue as to how expensive it can get.One bad wire(shorted or open)can litteraly shut down an entire vehicle.Sheesh! I must be getting old!...lol Anyway, happy 4th to you and your friends.

  • @da959 Thanks so kindly. You are right....We just keep re-inventing the wheel. It is progress I guess I am told. Whoknows where it is going.

  • i know it an american thing the 4th of july but many thanks for flying the mosquito we in britain are thinking of all are troops U.S. and BRITISH who are fighting now and pray for the ones who did not make it back...happy 4th to you and all your kin x

  • @xxkil Thanks so kindly. Your Mosquito helped win the war, and as far as I am concerned, not only is it a good Brit plane, but it is one of the better ones from Horizon too.

  • Nice road trip. Here in Los Angeles I would were a bucket on my head. As you know we have a lot of crazy drivers here who are bad drivers. All to common they do not look while they are driving or they are calling or texting on their cell phones. Glad you had a nice ride.

  • @photobart1 Thanks. yep after living and riding the freeways in Southern Cal for 50 years, this open country is a walk in the park. At least here, you can see the enemy coming a long way out. LOL. Thanks again.

  • happy 4th of july, even i'm not living in America and it is 6th of july! but still

  • @MrFireballie Thanks so very much. That is kind of you to say.

  • Great video. I like the music you use. Where do you get it?

  • @TheCarpetedGarage Thanks. They are modified Midis I mix and make up on my Q-Chord Synthesizer and my YouRock Guitar.

  • nice one Dave, happy 4th of July.

  • @beverke7 Thanks very much. I appreciate that.

  • What type of Bike do you have there? Very fancy piece of machinery!

  • @BanzaiMasterWannaBe It's a '95, 6 cylinder, Honda GoldWing, 20th Anniversary edition.

Did you know all Goldwings are made in Marysville Ohio, USA? None are made in Japan!

  • no helmet no respect

  • Thanks for sharing Dave. This was very nice! Thumbs up!~~John

  • @WORRO01 Thanks John.

  • Dave, Are you a Ham radio opperator? If not then what are those antenna on the back of your bike? Thanks 73's KJ6OKL

  • @Thercflyer96 I used to be, now just a ham. One is for the CB radio and the other is for the FM Stereo radio.

  • @NightFlyyer Alright cool, btw im going into Sequioa Union High School District this year, I kno you went, ill ask for a year book!

  • @Thercflyer96 1964, was my Sophomore year at Sequoia. I moved and graduated from Fremont in S'Vale.

  • @NightFlyyer aha. well that was quite the trek, east bay from peninsula.

  • Looks like you had a fun 4th!

Mine was great and I even got in a little flying. :)

Thanks again for all the videos.

  • Great video Dave but wear a helmet Please!!!!!

  • @djteddy911 Thanks. Well, there are no helmet laws here in Iowa, so after riding in California for 45 years with a helmet, sometimes it is nice to ride the bike like it was intended. Besides, there's not much to hit here either and I watch carefully for deer, which are easy to see right now. Thanks again.

  • @NightFlyyer Nothing to hit except the ground with your head, Dave. But, I know what you mean. With the helmet on, I feel very claustrophobic , and it restricts my field of view, especially the full face helmets.

  • What a nice video Dave, thanks for sharing. I sended you a question a few weeks ago about a battery, did you see it? I´m going to be glad if you can help me. Best regards

  • @RamosDa81 Thanks. I cannot keep up with the PM'S, with hundreds every day. Sorry. What was the question? Maybe I will see it here.

  • @NightFlyyer Thanks my name is Daniel, I´m from Guatemala. My english is not to good. I have a question can I use a 11.1 v in a honey bee Fixed pitch? Thanks for all your teachings, I have learned a lot

  • two-lane blacktop roads, green fields of corn & beans, blue skies and a great memorial to those who have served.......what could be better?

  • @SkyShinn Thanks kinldy. Yes, it was a wonderful ride and perfect weather, nothing much better for sure.

  • What no helmet? We would not want to lose you Dave because you did not put on a helmet.. :)

  • @freemarlochip Thanks. Yep after living and riding the freeways in Southern Cal for 50 years, With a helmet, this open country is a walk in the park. At least here, you can see the enemy coming a long way out. LOL. Thanks again for your concern and it is noted for sure.

  • Dave, that was a fun video thanks.

  • @Encoderbar3 Thanks very kindly.

  • Interesting bike you have, looks like there's some cool gadgets and gizmos on there. Have you made any videos about your bike before? If not, might be interesting..

  • @JaffaCakesFTW Thanks kindly. I made a couple of "ride around town" videos and also one or two on the InstaTrike Kit I have. It turns my Wing into a trike in 5 minutes. Thanks.

  • nice love it
