  • Fabulous....has attitude and kicks ass!

  • I remember watching this on tv in 95. It rocked then and it still rocks now!

  • Freekin' Awesome!

  • Amazing performance. These women rocked. How sexy was Nina Gordon? I miss the 90's. sigh. Look at the lack of camera phones, the simple way of dressing, and the pure, undeniable talent. No bullshit. Just great music..

  • timeless

  • bloody awesome

  • Mega Blast From the Past!

  • This has to be my favorite video on YouTube. I was lucky to see them twice live, and Nina live after they split. I love Veruca Salt.

  • i love nigelchallene's comment i soooo agree i love this song...for me when im in a really crappy mood i turn this on and all is well

  • WOW I LOVE THIS

  • Admittedly it was my first ever Glastonbury, but I still say it's the best I've been to. An amazing line up across all three days. I'd love to go back and do the whole weekend again.

  • @Suedeheadlover give yourself the shocker dude!!

  • @Suedeheadlover lol, wherrrre did you hear that garbage ? Dave did a soundtract for a movie " Touch" 1997 and left a track open for Louise to "laydown" vocals to.....( not sey'n they didnt find a few minutes to tango ) but at that time V.S. was working on 3rd release, .....so on so on

  • Have a listen to KOZMIC DREAMERS whose artistic vision and expression, defines them as one of a kind. Buy one of the songs or poems on iTunes.

  • seriously grunge is fucken awesome!!!! i want it back!!

  • ahhh if i could go back with what i know now...

  • One of the best post Grunge bands.

  • 6 dislikes???? 6 people have neither an hear for music nor an eye for hot rocker chicks

  • fuckin sexy

  • If you don't get goosebumps in the 37th second... something is wrong!!

  • @indigolicious1 That is so fucking weird I had them then I read your comment lol

  • The Seether's Louise!

  • I was supervising the "Pit" security team on this NME stage '95. Brings back some awesome memories, many that will remain confidential between myself & bands I had the pleasure to hang with ;O)) We were 500 Scot's & a Welsh squad were put in charge of the 9 mile perimeter fence, not a good move with their bad attitude & heavy swagger, THATS the reason the fence went down! I stood alone on the rail here, Prodigy's laser show firing up, in front of 140,000 people outta their nuts!? lol =O))

  • i'm the 100.000th

  • Awesome live performance. Hella fun.

  • So bizarre seeing a chick in a floral summery dress rock out!! Love it :)

  • id bang the shit out of the girl in the sun dress. she looked like a boy in the original vid for this song, tho. maybe if they had marketed her as a piece of ass, veruca salt would have made it big.

  • @thelonghalloween they would of been big if Nina (the other one) stayed in the band

  • @thelonghalloween You are either a troll, or very young. This is not what 90's grunge and alternative was about; it was about the value of talent and songwriting over selling music by sex appeal and plastic ideology. Sorry you missed it and all you have now is rap and pop. It might have changed the way you look at people; this is what rap has reversed when the 90's was about progress and being yourself. Your statement is pretty lonely and shallow.

  • I was there, got sunburn watching them, not a huge crowd but they rocked like fuck.... like they used to in the 90's

  • Exaxtly

  • their from Rochester NY right? or somewhere around it?

i swear i heard it somewhere

  • Where the fuck are the decent Grrl bands??

  • I liked this era immensely especially coming from metal into more alternative that fused guitar crunch to pop melodies.

  • this is real music!!! i wish nina and louise would make up already.

  • Lack of camera phones for the win. Thanks for posting such awesome music.

  • @DEEEBOZZ Lack of flags aswell :)

  • old school days

  • Fuck, those were the days. I wish I could go back.

  • NIce Ass! 0:39

  • The 90's were all about talent, no matter what gender. See how VS can get a crowd moshing!!! Now, with all the rappers; women are no longer given lead roles and reduced to backup dancers and are refered to as "ho's". We were actually going somewhere in the 90's; but it all reverted back to the 1920's later when it all ended; what a shame!

  • pick up some guitars ladies!

  • Rocking the F Out and Creating Mash pits in Summer flower dresses and shirts, barefoot. <3

  • beautifully dirty

  • i love 90's chics

  • bands today dont even come close to the VS rock xx

  • I saw RUSH last year - hadn't seen them since Moving Pictures, no act today compares with them. That is why so many of the 80's 90's band are still touring there is no rock music today. Iron Maiden is coming up and Im going - look at Camp Freddy's success - they F**KIN ROCK. Bieber, Gaga, Beyonce they dont rock

  • For me - and any other jaded, disillusioned mid-90s music fans/Britpoppers out there - this video is like morning sex: warm, uncomplicated, and it leaves you with a big grin on your face for the reat of the day.

Will people look back on 2010/11 with the same fondness in 15 years time, I wonder?

  • @nigelchallenge Interesting thought. I'm 33 years old and at Uni. Kids today are a very intolerant and conservative bunch. Makes me wonder where we're all heading.

  • @nigelchallenge Oh god, if we look back on this shit with fondness, then that means things will become so much WORSE.

  • @nigelchallenge True, but maybe the baby boomers were saying the same thing in 1995 when thinking back to the music of the 1960s.

  • broken snare!

  • back when glastonbury was worth the huge sum of money u hav to pay just to get in there.

  • Dowwnload the audio from this clip at speedyconversion doht cohm.

  • @ValareePerlak36 dot cohm? ok yeah ill do that

  • Ah the nineties where girls that sang didn't have to have big tits or worry about VPL. Long haired blokes wore band T-shirts but didn't necessarily listen to their music and bouncers had epic moustaches.

  • @Easyandy100 what's VPL?

  • @madeyes4u Visible Panty Line...

  • @Salguine lol true.

  • I was there!

  • This is what made the 90's so incredible. Great era for everything-especially alt rock/hip hop/grunge and chicks that actually could form a sentence and play kick ass guitar.

  • cute girls

  • drummer breaks snare at 3:10 sick

  • Haha. Sadly I was there. I'm so old :(

  • @miniGMgoit ur not old and honestly thats not a SAD thing.. Whats SAD is the state/condition/world we are currently living in. Be proud of being there!!

  • Good girls, a time when alternative rock was ok, wipes the floor with all the lame shite nowadays

  • sweet messed up hell

  • weird but i just noticed the lead singer looks an awful lot like a young female version of geddy lee

  • @leach987654321 His voice is higher though.

  • two fine ladies

  • rock n roll...louise post is rock n roll

  • I never saw this when it first came out. Rock music needs something like this again. I'm gonna have to buy the album now!

  • Snare drum skin = BUST! 3:25

  • God bless Veruca Salt! Rock n' Roll!

  • was at this gig n i loved it n still do

  • i love these women...really I do..

  • Wow, Nina is pretty much eating that mic

  • what a flashback! awesome song!

  • Great band, you can't beat a good rock bitch!

  • Fuck their tits are huge lol, it was a joke haha... nice get up they got goin on there, look like a bunch of school teachers hahaha

  • Comment removed

  • Pretty loud and pretty good.

  • LOVE THIS!

I was meant to go, but lift got cancelled on the day. I nearly cried when I saw this. Isn't the intro beautiful?

  • VERUCA SALT ROCKS

  • Just great. Nina's wearing Mom jeans! haha. Rock on, girls...

  • I was there!

  • espectacular

  • awww...makes me sad to know that nina and louise had such a caustic falling out. they made amazing music together. nina's solo efforts cannot compare to her work in veruca salt (although, i do like them) and louise's new veruca salt inception cannot compare either.

  • I say we continue to miss the 90's. but, we try and gradually make a change

  • Lovely.

  • I fuckin' miss the 1990s! What a great time! No protracted wars, no credit crisis, no housing bubble and the music was awesome! Oh, yeah, MTV still played music! Imagine that?

  • @lsnows I MISS THE 90'S TO!

  • @lsnows Totalmente de acuerdo contigo Totally agree. Mtv is a music channel???? Don´t believe this now!!!

  • Awesome. I wonder if these ladies(bands), like Cranberries, Amos and Belly, still perform at Lilith Fair or elsewhere...Although she is only 18(recently turned), and she recently started as an artist, I beg you guys to PLEASE, please give Allison Iraheta a listen. Please? She is still growing into adulthood and better insight on vocals and artistry. I love that girl as she is, but she can only get better. Thanks.

  • Holy crap does anybody love this like I do? Holy fucking shit. Incredible.

  • @gunslinger32mag Dude I just found these guys last year.....IM HOOKED........Jesus I love this......

  • @knucklebut420 Me too bro! I found it kinda late....Discovered them in 2000 and my friend's girlfriend (this girl named Joey, 20 at the time) burned me in front of a bunch of people saying, "that's so middle school!" I was a grown man of about 26 at the time but it still PISSED ME OFF. You know, like when you ARE in middle school and somebody talks shit about your song and you take personal offense? That was me but at 26! lol! I freakin LOVE this song...and them...

  • Sounds like someone was channeling the Ramones when they wrote this one, great song!

  • Good rememberings here! I still like it indeed!

  • i love this vid. and i love it how they never stress over their image. no bra no shoes and it doesnt matter.

  • Two hot chicks playing bone-crunchin' rock. That's what it's all about! Todays generation is totally pussy-fied!

  • @twinsmm1 I totally agree

  • Fuckin' awesome!

  • Ojala hubiera mas chicas rockeras como estas!!

  • @megustanlosvideos hell yeah! tell me about it!

el mundo necesita mas chicas rockeras

(is that right? my spanish isn't great)

  • @theamazingooz No, you wrote it perfect!!

  • @theamazingooz that was perfect spanish, y'all!!!

  • Clitoris Ode.

  • *souvenirs*

  • the seether is louise!

    this is amazing!

    girls. rock. guitars.

that had to be one amazing year at glastonbury.

    long live the rock!

  • Even Ninas ass rocks!!

  • was there! was there!!!!

oh, and Breeder suck donkey balls!

  • There were, and always will be a second rate Breeders.

  • @diemfive77 I like both. Their writing styles are totally different really.

  • @diemfive77 Agreed!!!! i like them, but as it stands they were a breeders rip off.

  • Rock N' Roll, Glastonbury.

  • I was just talking to a friend of mine that was there. Not only did he say that Veruca Salt was awesome that day, but that she was not doing anything wrong shouting "Rock n' Roll" @ the end. He also said that everyone but Pulp put on stellar sets and that Pulp had mediocre songs with crappy delivery, they acted snobby and aloof. I've listened to Pulp, they're no Blur, Elastica, Wire or even Oasis!

  • aah glasto 95!my 1st glasto!can vaguely remember watching them,had alot of scrumpy by then!roll on 2010!

  • they were the dogs bollox when nina and louise were together!

  • This performance freakin' ROCKS!!!! Gotta miss the 90s <3 !!!

  • is the girl in white the one from the band or is she the one from "throwing muses"?

  • It's Louise Post (VS), though the hairstyle does make her resemble Kristin Hersh (TM) a bit; more around '88/9 though!

  • Comment removed

  • I can't find shimmer like a girl from the same show.

  • women of alternative rock always look pretty no matter how messed up they look

  • I agree! :) <3

  • I completely agree- I also feel that when they look 'messed up' is what brings out their beauty even more ;) :) :D

  • @freakofmusique wow..louise post is so sexy...i have a huge crush on her in the 90's...

  • @freakofmusique totally true! i love watching the footage of L7 from Rio 93'. and o' course this

  • @freakofmusique YES, YES... A THOUSAND TIMES YES, I AGREE WITH YOU MAN

  • i luv the 90s!!!!!!

  • I love when the snare batter head rips.

  • Awesome...

  • I was in the Pit!!

Remember it like it was yesterday. That was when the Sun used to shine on Glasto!! Happy days.

  • HA! The drummer broke the snare

  • Love this, saw Page/Plant before and Elastica after I remember. 1995 was the best Glastonbury by far.

  • Fucking awesome!! I love them, wish I was there. :/ <3

  • love VS always... i did have the biggest crush on Nina though lol

  • i wish i was the bass player in this band

i bet he got to score heaps

  • Oh, my God! What kind of fuckin' setup do these ladies have? That's monsterous tone! And they were rock solid! That's what I strive for onstage is thunderous, catchy riffs with tons of energy! These ladies are professionals both onstage and in the studio.

  • they do look quite young but good. thats a lot of people. did others perform as well?

  • Louise Post is a cutie.

  • 3:32 HAHAHA

can someone please tell me what the hell was she thinking? ? ?

  • wow they look like kids in this video! They didnt even look this young in the actual video for seether. Again... wow they look like kids.

  • i was there near the front and when they did 25 ..... it was just ace.

  • Fucking awesome!

  • wicked

  • Oops, it's just rock and roll.

  • No. Nina Gordon wrote the song.

  • I don't like it when she shouts "Rock n Roll!1" at the end,she should keep her mouth shut,I read int he Nme that Jarvis cockins gave her a right beasting for it backstage while the rest of her band looked on nodding their heads in agreement.

  • She did write the song after all, he is lucky she did not do a Pete Townsend up side his head.

  • I am trying my hardest to work out why someone would admonish someone for shouting Rock and Roll at the end of a rock song at a rock festival.

  • I admonish you to not try so hard else you may very well bust a nut sir.

  • @CrayxaxElectrical

Indeed. What's wrong with her shouting that?

  • @CrayxaxElectrical s'corny.

  • Awesome I have all the glasto 95 coverage on vhs somewhere keep meaning to upload it.But I haven't.

  • Please do it ! I'd love to see the rest of the show !

  • Fuckin' A!!!

  • thanks malmal2006 , ive bin waiting since 1995 to watch that again

  • the singer doesn't have boob!!!!

  • I got the album this is on, but mainly liked this song. Nice video, Glastonbury was always good in those days :)

  • the drummer broke the snare 3:08

  • oh yeah i love it

  • Saw them live twice. Both times were great show.

  • It's a shame that a crap band like Seether had to name themselves after such an awesome song.

  • @SasquatchWhere Thats your opinion mate, I love Seether

  • SO RAD!

  • oh fuck the 90s band... they were all legend! my fav 90s! not today's music! i wish the 90s style can bring back to next future!

  • Thank you so much for posting this!! I'm still holding out for Nina and Louise to reunite, 12 years later.. haha. Saw them front row in minneapolis in '97. Such great performers!
