yep it is mostly cosmetic, though i would use a scope, like an actual magnified scope, fore scouting, not sniping lol. and weaver rail can be pretty handy, especially when mounting a Qloader, though you dont have to have a weaver to mount a Qloader.

I think milsim stuff is all cosmetic, red dots and bipods and all sorts, it looks cool, but imo its not practical :/

try and look for a "camping roll mat" its what u put under ur sleeping bag. just a body size rectagular mat of thin foam. for about $5 and some glue

I have no idea where to get Neoprene, and I like bubblewrap so i'm using that for my hopper and a pod. I am very messy though, when I cut mine, it's not very clean with bubble wrap the edges are jagged cause I cut some of the bubbles in half and then I dunno, weird stuff happens.

I just did this, but I recommend you guys add a circle piece to cover the cap of the hopper on the inside, since bouncing balls hit the cap and make a lot of noice. with the circle on the cap it's like f***ing ninja. excellent vid.

I did this a long time ago with my A5 hopper. I used felt and spray adhesive it has worked quite well. Might be cheaper than neoprene. I didn't use a template. It probably would have been easier. lol.

nice video but you should've put the liner adhesive tape on the lid of the hopper so when your running fast it doesn't hit the lid and make noise..... just an idea if you have any left =)

it doesn't need to be neoprene, read all the comments under this vid, to see what other players used as silencing material...

PC mouse pads are also great, and some of them are made from neoprene, but you will have to use glue...

the reason why you hear the balls rattle in my vids is because i don't always use my silenced hopper...

and you hear the balls rattle because cam is only inch from the hopper. from few feat away, you can't hear it...

during the winter i use my Ricochet R5 loader on my Cyclone, since it's silenced/padded, and it keeps paint protected from cold....

rest of the year i use BULP.

yes, you can add some padding inside BULP, but i won't silence my....

That was really amazing man!! The only funny thing I see about this video is your doing it for the hopper of an A-5. The funny thing is, as loud as an A-5 gets, if your hopper don't give your position away your gun will with as loud as it is. Lol. Better have a damn accurate gun. Great video though!!!

hey, have you noticed any difference in the consistency of the paint on hot days? cuz i would think that the liner would insulate the heat alot and make the paint really soft, i just wanted to know before i did the mod.

insulation works both ways, protect from cold, and protect paintballs from heat on sunny day!

so paintballs stay cooler, not get warmer!

I've got an idea how you can silence the lid, and still be able to see how much paint you have.

Get some clear, adhesive silicone sheets, and apply that to the inside of the lid.

I use moleskin and it works pretty well but not nearly as good as the neoprene, theres also molefoam which is quite a bit thicker than the moleskin, I bought some but havent tried it yet, then I also bought some of the 2mm craft foam sticky sheets from walmart and I will try that tonight to see how it works.
