The children are beautiful.Two examples.Thelma Aoyama is black and Japanese and is a singer and Crystal Kay is black and korean. A lot of the times the children are very light skinned. Or 'tan' in skin color, have curly hair and are sometimes tall and slim.As for how the relationship would work out...it all depends on him and her. Everyone can give great experiences and horrible experiences BUT it isn't the same for everyone. So I say he should just try and see what happends.

Well, Asian and black children are beautiful usually. As you said they have beautiful brown skin and curley dark hair. The eye's are not as defined as a pure asian but more round. Black and anyother race usually make beutiful siblings. So don't be afraid to date interracially, its a great experience for both people to learn more about other cultures. My mom quit her education to immigrate with my dad to keep the family together. It was a tough decision no doubt. Mixing results are soooo random. Naomi Campbell is blasian, could pass for full black. Kimora Lee Simmons is blasian, could pass for full asian (when she relaxes her naturally curly hair). On the other hand, Amerie and Tiger Woods look like a perfect combo of both. I saw blasian kids, they looked asian with straight hair. It's reaaallllyyyyy random.

Hey, I"m African-American and my husband is Japanese-American& Vietnamese. To answer the first question; "What do AMBW children look like" I think it depends on the specific ethnicity of the parents, I've seen some that end up looking Pinoy, some look hispanic and others maintain "traditional" asian features with a slightly more "tan/caramel" skin tone. And to answer your second question I think AMBW are like any other inter-racial relationship. Check out my page to see pics of us!

The children are beautiful.Two examples.Thelma Aoyama is black and Japanese and is a singer and Crystal Kay is black and korean. A lot of the times the children are very light skinned. Or 'tan' in skin color, have curly hair and are sometimes tall and slim.As for how the relationship would work out...it all depends on him and her. Everyone can give great experiences and horrible experiences BUT it isn't the same for everyone. So I say he should just try and see what happends.

About AMBW, it works just like any other relationship. You don't turn into some type of subspecies when you enter this (for lack of a better word) "type" of relationship. We shouldnt categorize love by what shade it is.

@Sensho1018 i have to disagree with u on smth. yes of course there has been racism towards asians from whites (i mean remember the days when all antagonists in western movies were asian). however i noticed that when it comes down to it, because of that very same racism that created the illusion that is white supremacism, most asians came to see themselves as being better than africans becuz of lighter skintone. i used to have a crush on asian men but it was "crushed" because of this sad reality.

One girl that I know is half black and half asian. You can totally tell that she is mixed with both races. Her older sister took more of the asian gene from their mom and she took more from her dad who is black. But you can definitely tell they are mixed with both.

I think it will be just as any other relationship interracial or not. You will have your ups,downs, twist and turns even if it is a racial things. Ppl are just going to have to realize the world is changing for the better and just learn to understand it and things will work out in the end. I don't think there is a magic formula. After all they are just both human. A willingness to learn about the culture of others is a big factor. Well, Asian and black children are beautiful usually. As you said they have beautiful brown skin and curley dark hair. The eye's are not as defined as a pure asian but more round. Black and anyother race usually make beutiful siblings. So don't be afraid to date interracially, its a great experience for both people to learn more about other cultures. But when it comes right down to it, its still male, female attraction, love, lust and passion. Simply human beings being human. I hope this helps.

Chanal Iman and NeYo are only 1/4 Asian. (Korean genes are STRONG. Chinese ones, not so much.)
Tasha (윤미래) is supposed to be half black but looks 100% Korean.
Amerie is half Korean but looks 1/4.
Lou Jing (from Shanghai) is half/half but looks only black. (again, Chinese genes.)
Tiger Woods looks mostly Thai with an afro.
Hines Ward has a totally Korean face while Ben Henderson could pass for Puerto Rican.
Sharon Leal has a super Filipino bone structure.

My mom quit her education to immigrate with my dad to keep the family together. It was a tough decision no doubt. My mom tells me that she was glad she made this decision, as I came into this world shortly after. There is no right or wrong. You did what was important to you at the time.

I think what we really need are brave black women who are willing to go to these countries and assimilate. Without much BW representation in these asian countries, how can we expect for AMBW to become more accepted in our society?

I come from a multi-ethnic extended family (USA). But traveled & lived abroad some. So far, I find that people only ever have a problem with 'inter-racial'/inter-ethnic relationships when they have serious/very sad issues with being prejudiced. Of course the obvious insecurities to come about being inferior when compared to each other's race, like him to a black guy or myself to a Thai girl, but it always comes back down to the people. :) that's all that matters. Mixing results are soooo random. Naomi Campbell is blasian, could pass for full black. Kimora Lee Simmons is blasian, could pass for full asian (when she relaxes her naturally curly hair). On the other hand, Amerie and Tiger Woods look like a perfect combo of both. I saw blasian kids, they looked asian with straight hair. It's reaaallllyyyyy random.

Kimora Lee Simmons' kids. Basically they look mixed with the features of both parents but it really depends. As it does with any other mixed race kids. I know some who look full Asian and some who look more just light skinned black. It really just depends... but if I may be biased usually it's a damn nice mixture and they looks suuuper cute. Hahhaa. Hey, I"m African-American and my husband is Japanese-American& Vietnamese. To answer the first question; "What do AMBW children look like" I think it depends on the specific ethnicity of the parents, I've seen some that end up looking Pinoy, some look hispanic and others maintain "traditional" asian features with a slightly more "tan/caramel" skin tone. And to answer your second question I think AMBW are like any other inter-racial relationship. Check out my page to see pics of us!

An AM/BW relationship works just like any other relationship would work....of course there's gonna be a couple of awkard incidents but that's with every relationship...A relationship is a relationship....the skin (and sometimes the culture) is the only thing that is different...but if one is seriously committed to their partner they'll be able to work through the differences and have a successful relationship. Go for it!
