That example is not even an 'evolution' example. Bacteria have plasmids, which are like rings of DNA. These plasmid can be passed on to other bacteria, so resistant strains will pass their DNA to non-resistant strains. No plant, animal, insect, human, etc, functions like that.

As far as I am aware, the bacteria only become resistant to man made anti-biotics. They don't become resistant to naturally occurring anti-bacterial substances like honey, oil of Oregano, etc.

@lawlesser It's a very good question. Scientific theories have different levels of uncertainties depending on the field. They are under progress, like anything else made by humans. Evolution theory is not complete either. In case of predictions, there are a lot of predictions for different species including human beings. But the power of predictability of the theories of evolution for each species is also highly dependent on the "Environmental changes" in the future that are very hard to predict
