I really wonder if he ever once has every laughed at himself: too busy putting an ironic cast on every bloody thing. William Buckley was a far nicer guy, and better sense to Yuma all things considered of course, as they say on NPR Sure the Bush family is a family of secrets but Obama IS one vast secret. though not a very well kept one. Vidal would have been better off disliking both the left and right then I could have taken him a good deal more seriously.
