Me and some friends were set to make a movie from the trip, and when we were showing the clips from the Auschwitz part (Auschwitz I) we had NO music to use. 1. I know that before the battle. The goal of battle of Britain was to bomb England and make it less a threat, after they refused to sign peace treaty.

I remember my class's trip to Germany and Poland. The kinda main point was to visit some concentration camps. Me and some friends were set to make a movie from the trip, and when we were showing the clips from the Auschwitz part (Auschwitz I) we had NO music to use. I used some other HOI3 music, but when we came to the saddest part, we put on the beginning of this music. People cried.

2. Vichy government was a puppet in III Reich hands. Yes, it was partly made of a former member of French government for propaganda purposes(citizens have more problems with rebelling against their own then against foreigners) but they were puppets nonetheless. Besides, they followed German law, supported German military, hunted for Jews etc, etc

while I love the Japanese traditions of honour, I truly believe that Japan is the most advanced human culture on earth. Hiroshima taught them never to wage war ever again, so they now have no army, are at war with no one, no nukes, etc. Will the USA and other countries have to suffer something like hiroshima before we see that pacifism is the only way we can advance as a species? think about it...

DaMoviesMan43: Actually, Japan is not a pacifist country. Japan maintains a military referred to collectively as the Self-Defense Forces.
Part of their national security depends on working closely with the U.S. military.
The Japanese are uneasy about China and North Korea, and there is a growing sentiment among them that they need to be more assertive militarily rather than defensive.
Whatever the case, they are hardly pacifists. They, like the Swiss, WILL take up arms in defense.

@DaMoviesMan43 Actually, they don't have a large military or nuclear weapons because the United States forced it into their constitution that they couldn't.
Also, for the record, Japan has supported America in it's wars. There are even a few soldiers in Afghanistan, or at least were (I don't know if they're still there).

I salute the Samurai spirit with in these soldiers who died for their beloved country. Unfortunately, The Japan that we respect is history now. Today's Japan is only another piece in the inhuman Capitalist block.

you seem to forget the japs knew nothing of the saying "live to fight another day" although they had some admirable qualities they were also very foolish. to lose one battle means nothing it is especially nothing to kill yourself over. the street urchin/bandit had more brains then they did in this area.
but im going off urban legend i dont know that all samurai committed ritual suicide aka "seppiku(?)"
