@cllcn888 Yes, the Slk is a 'poor man's' SL. One thing these two both have in common is if you put more hp in them then they'll be beating their bigger brothers, making them overpriced and pointless.

Just to note, eventhough the SL has more bells and whistles than the SLK, that stuff can always be 'trickled down' to it and the SLK's price would still not be as high.

I have a Boxter S. So that means I can't afford a 911? But I have a 911 as well. So I am confused. They are totally different cars - my 911 is an X50 Turbo, great fun but its an animal. So sometimes I like to drive the Boxster - roof down and with sports exhaust actually gets more attention than the 911. I think Boxsters are cool.

Every car reviewing agency on the planet has declared the 2009+ Cayman (which is the same as the Boxster with a different roof) to be the best car that Porsche makes. Autocar declared the Cayman S to be the best car Porsche makes AND the best car in the world (check out their YouTube video if you don't believe me). The 911 is a fantastic piece of engineering, but the current Cayman R handles better than the GT3 if they are fitted with the same tyres.

The Boxster and Cayman are more agile and out-handle every 911; I have learned this first hand at Porsche track days. If you need the straight-line performance figures to make up for your small penis, than that is your choice. I, on the other hand, don't care about numbers. I want a light and nimble car that will put a smile on my face.

Jeremy is wrong about styling. The Boxster looks much better than the Mercedes. He also thinks the 458 Italia is better looking than the F430, which is wrong as well. It may look slightly better from the back, but the 458's front is hidious and clashes with the exquisite curves of the rest of the car. Anyway, the best car Porsche makes is the Cayman S with the limited slip diff, sport chrono pack, carbon ceramic brakes and PASM suspension.
