I bought my 60gb ps3 on 5/13/07.Christmas night i was playing codwaw when my system just shut down. When i tried to start it back it would not eject my game and the button flashes red then yellow then red. After looking up Playstation 3 repair on youtube i found something called the ylod the yellow light of death. Thats what i got im sending sony 160 bucks to fix or replace with an inferior 20 or 80 gig. So yes playstations do crap out. This came out of the blue so watch out. All my saves Toast

Well, here's my comment. I own a PS3. If I had the cash, I'd probably have a 360 too. They are both powerful machines. Yet, out of the 3 people I know who own both, 3 of those people FAR prefer their PS3. So.....

yeah i own a ps3 and i have saved money since i didnt buy the xbox360 and all the necessary addon hardware to get to the level of the ps3 that comes as stock.. and i enjoy it, its great, works perfectly, makes little noise, i couldnt ask for more...
but obviously sony have done something wrong, marketing they should have voiced it out more clearly that it was infact cheaper or as expensive as the xbox360..

Yea i think ps3's market shrunk big time Only naive people who think blue ray is the future will be buying ps3'now, Forza Pwns Gran turismo and part 3 of it is coming. Im not no fan boy but Sonys gone and got a bit greedy. Well hell it will still sell. But not as much as xbox 360. And that's the bottom line 360 won!. the graphics in the ps3 are slightly worse in the earlier games since developers were making the games with the xbox n then would translate it to ps3 n u should know both consoles r completely different hardwarewise
something that has also been proven is that GTAiv has slightly better graphics on the ps3 than on the 360... and the more time passes once developers learn how to work with the ps3, the graphics will either level out or get better than the 360's.. (graphics comparison on paper?????)
