  • @bizou154 this is totally house.

  • these guys r good ,no need for choreography here, they dance as free spirits, something that deep house leads to, a free spirit, this is not some stupid danceshow, its improvisation and a mixure of dancemoves from each dancer,

an excellent performance..hontoni sugoi ! gambate!

  • No. Just no.

  • Brilliant! I think the choice of track is the soul of the whole performance. Absolutely love that tune! Now I'm really inspired to start hosting house dance sessions in Lagos Nigeria. Im trying to jumpstart a deep/soulful house revo there soon so I'm seein this at the right moment. Keep dancin!

  • for anybody who knows zatoichi, I have a question is it correct that these guys also dancing in zatoichi?

  • the track is so dope but why do they suck so much lol

  • Kid n Play meets square dance etiquette.

Weak as shit for the most part. Misguided, misplaced, misinterpreted freestyle mimetic rubbish.

No soul, no meaning, no reason for being

  • Stop living in the past embrace the future. =)

  • @pjdaprinz Choreographing it is missing the point entirely, and ignoring what makes it special in the first place.

  • Couldn't have said it better myself-

  • are you talking about house dance in general? or just these dancers?

  • My comments were directed at the clowns in this video only.

    It's just bad.

  • I'm ambivalent about it, but I don't think they suck. They're technically good dancers and execute the movements well, but like any street dance choreo, it's removed from its natural element and lost its bite.

  • The stage is pretty small for all of them up there too. You can see where they mess up.

  • nothing but Strictly Rhythm

  • whooo that second song!!

  • Can some one tell em the full name & artist of this song? I saw someone put "Eheee, Mr.V mix". Can u be more exact!!!

  • Just seen this young Japanese dancing so nice makes me want to start trying to do their movements! (just hope not to break my back while doing it). Great dancers and good post.

  • young?? lmfao So Deep has been around since like 1997 haha.. they are like 30+ years old man.. some of them are new and some young but not younger than 25

  • Beautiful. It's so nice to see kids rippin it like back in the day. I was nice in my time, but these dudes would have had me in an uproar. And Japanese at that?! You let a non black or latino smoke you, you may as well hang em up. Times were startin to change then, but it's a new day now.

  • First track is Mr V featuring Miss Patty - Da Bump

  • Wow, these guys are awesome. All respect to those who are putting that much effort and talent towards expressing themselves artistically and creatively!

"house tribute" I think so too!

  • wats the second song after da bump dude???

  • Cool as hell!

  • Thanks for a good comment!

    Peace!!

  • what is the firs track called?

  • man what's up w/ the beats? sounds like a combination of the record skipping constantly and the dj pitching it up to +8 and then back down to 0. or more likely a software glitch in the video... too bad

  • Thanks for advice. I'll re-encode and up-load this trailer in the near future.

  • Music and moves are bad to the bone. If you wanna see some different moves, check out my documentary on coupe decale from Ivory Coast and France. One x.

  • I liked it. I never knew it was like this over seas. I gotta get there!! Great post

  • "Pienso en ti" is the name of that track it is on the MAW record Our Time Is Coming- Little Louie Vega feat. Louis Salinas. It is speeded up here though.

  • Very cool. I wish more people would get into the underground scene and dance. I miss the good old days.

  • Soul and musicality exists in bboying just as much housing. What the mainstream markets in regards to bboying is powermoves and powerfreezes. However, musicality elements of bboying particularly, tops, "style" moves, hitting beats and improving moves into beats are a HUGE part of bboying. Want to see housers that bboy? Research bboy Free, circle of fire, bboy hodown events.

  • bboy mamsom from the wanted posse ^^

  • It's you. Personally, I've never seen anyone make house-dancing look as easy as they do.

  • what is the name of first dong men?????????

  • Mr. V Feat. Miss Patty - Da Bump

  • WHATs the name of the first song O.O

House dancing is more flexible then ANY other dance - Break poppin' bboys is NOt dancing is more gynastic more than DANCING these people only focus in acrobatic moves which is NOT dancing - some people believe just cannot understand the meaning of DANCING yet...

  • being a bboy, i love, love, love watching house dancing. most steps are similar to our form of toprocking. Ill be honest, theres a lot of bboys/bgirls who just dont have the "juice" but there are a bunch that have sick rhythm, flow, and style thatll blow your mind away. BUT you have to consider that house music has that constant flow of beats where the breaks is completely different. nowadays, it aint just the beats, we hit the horns, drums, cymbals, even lyrics. you prolly been watching junk

  • wow I like how you try to distract others from your misery by demonizing other people's arts. You know, you should try to lighten up, 'cause I seriously doubt you know bboying well enough to comment.

  • ignorance is bliss.

where are there acrobatic moves in popping?

and for ur info, toprock plays a major role in bboying... And bboy originated from gangs who wanted to fight without actually killing each other... so its a battling style not just a dance of expression...

you cannot battle in house and popping is very difficult to judge...

and house lacks upper body hindering its flexibility...

thus, the hybrid style "new style" was born.

Do us a favor, and only talk about dance styles you do

  • remember that POPPING is NOT breakdancing. we are talking about how hopeless and souless BD can get.

  • i disagree. real bboys/bgirls dont concentrate on doing just "moves" but its how the moves is delivered through the music and how creative the individual can be. that is the power of bboying. the skies the limit. its a concept that takes years to understand and master. its funny cuz we say the same shit your saying within our community but dont go around branding bboying as a hopeless and souless dance. i dont think you've seen REAL bboying yet.

  • failed to become bboys? hehe

  • you know whats funny, house dancers are really good on their feet/rythm but don't have dynamic moves on the floor. Breakers are the opposite, they have crazy power moves but their footwork is so goofy even the top breakers can't really dance.

  • your stupid.

  • I like the last guy at 7:48 he killed it, mad skills

Japan House Dancers come to San Francisco September 2008

  • His name is Nao.

    I like him ,too.

  • SSSSSSSH....they were jammin.

  • Yeah, The First & last rack was power for real.... If yah all know the info on the first and last , then by all means post da shiznit!

The Japaneses dance is so hard it fails to make a demention, but they can Dance that's Fo sho'. they get my vote, now where they at?? can't locate them sommabitche's anywhere.

    Izz.

  • anyone know the first song can you message me pleaasse

  • the song is called "da bump" by Mr. V feat Patty

  • does anybody knows the track of the first one? i really like this vidio ~~it's good~

  • The song is 1 of my favourites...I bought it on vinyl as a student in Manchester in 1999! Type Luis Salinas Pienso En Ti. It is produced by Masters at Work. The name says it all!

  • yeah man, i'm feelin' that last track too, someone share the vibe ID THE track please!

  • Fellas...Japanese or American or whatever country you come from..Like Hardstepper comment..If you practice you feel the music the creation of that connection will be seen. At times its represented in a form thats different from how others persive their own to be. However good show fellas, I really enjoyed the clip. Dude in the black at the end is liquid. Also whats the last track called if anyone knows.

  • Ilike, good dance, good music, good perform!!!Great, really great

  • I totally agree with porzou. Thanks.

  • I hate how people judge one style compared to another. I feel that it is visually obvious when a dancer has a connection with the music. Performing or dancing for someone besides yourself is in another catagory. Dancers get good from practice. I am allways reminded that dance can bring numerous types responses and should give you back whatever you are willing to invest. I used to say that I just dance for myself, but why go out in public then? A: to express my different style!

  • ok..blah blah blah, japan is awsome..now with that out of the way I think the clip kinda sucked..good pov of anyone tryin to get atmosphere, but it stifled the performance to me..Love the team, theyre really together

    What's the song (I can't spell 4 shit lol)

  • didn't the soul brothers and the mop tops go to japan for a while to teach? Well don't know if im right just random info I heard b4.

  • I saw Soul and Motops in Japan way back in 1995

  • Just proves that hey can do anything, as we can. Very adaptable race ! They watch and mimic, not bad at all. And they do have more rythem then some...you know who I'm talking about !!!!

  • I DISAGREE WITH THEY ARE TRASH AND NOT GOOD JAPANESE DANCERS. They got rhythm and they are on beat. They are feeling the beats. Give them a little more time and you;ll see

  • come on! i really feel them even though is different from the states but still is cool. they jus change a little to their own style. Anyway i love de moves.

  • Are you serious..?? They aint even going with the beat. Any one can do this.. I mean wheres there rythm nothing uh. I mean i aint disrespectin jap housers but i mean am i the only one that sees that this is garbage. this is reCOCKalous!.

  • man...what ur sayin is similar to sayin e-joe isn't good. can't u see the groove n rhythm that only experienced dancers can show? man if u can't see that in this show don't even call ur self a dancer fool. u probably started poppin just cuz u wanted to hit on some girls or somethin.

study before u even think of posting comments.

  • Oh my goodness! I never known this team is still active. It is almost 7 years ago i saw their routines in the past TV proglam RAVE 2001. Id be glad to see them again. where was this party taken place? I will go back to Japan this coming winter and wanna see them!

  • When I lived in Japan, I was so moved by the house dancers there. They are just so brilliant and dance with a kokolo (soul) that I had never seen. It really touched me, man, and this video brought up fond memories. Thanks. PEACE. ONE LOVE.
