@qegvW3H It's a fleetwood formal limousine. One in less than 800 made in 1980. 4 doors and 7 seats. 2 in the front (black leather seats) 2 in the middle (you can fold them if you don't need them) and 3 at the back. Some people call them fleetwood 75 series

It probably does have a car alarm for the doors. It's just that there are people who are inconsiderate enough to mess with a car's hood ornament but not willing to break into the car itself.

I did that on one of my Sevilles that had an alarm system, I hooked mine to the alarm not just the horn like you did, so if someone pulled on mine, they got the horns and lights going off, you wouldn't stand around that for long!

When my dad bought my '91 new, the dealer said he could hook that up but dad said "don't bother"...so now I took off the gold hood ornament to store it and painted a silver one gold haha

Haha, exactly the same i make for my Lincoln Emblem right now. I built a switch and it goes to the horn too. I will make a video, if its finished.

Smart. This could have easily been a a factory option decades before punks started stealing them to wear as chains. I always worried about mine getting stolen but it never happened thankfully.

But i would run an electric current through the emblem like in a prank shock lighter alongside with the current horn switch.
