Because they think this ploy will encourage people to purchase their overpriced anime...doubt that's the case...even though it's not in English so you can't even enjoy it as much...and then they thought they could make more money by splitting the series in two and making "seasons". I think $75 is a reasonable price for all 50 episode (amount you pay for SEED on Amazon). Wont happen for a while though unless it doesn't have enough sales.

@AdonyTV I think they made another series like another season to this series but is called Gundam 01, I know this cuz when I went to the book store today I saw Gundam 01 vol 2 where after such and such happened, I don't want to give away anything about this show to the viewers who haven't seen this show before but if you know what happens to Celestial Beings
