Great song man! A beautiful version. Towards the end of March Kris Kristofferson played Glasow Royal Concert Hall. I knew his film work & also knew he had written songs for alot of folk but I hadn't heard much of the man himself. Anyway my friend got me a ticket & I was blown away. The man's amazing live.

He was quite prolific a while back and wrote some good tunes that others made "hits" out of. this particular song was recorded by several people over the years. I have the "Ray Price" version myself on CD. Thanks for your comment! 8-)

A short while after the gig, I bought one of his cd's, "Songs Of Kristofferson". It's a great cd. The first song is, "The Silver-Tongued Devil & I". I think this is my favourite song but I'm just Getting into the man. Definately an exceptional songwriter.

Thanks GEERUP. I find the best way to enjoy music is not to hear it continually. I hardly ever play some of my favorite music, then way I do hear it, it's that much more special to enjoy.
