yes pain suppresion can be very useful, if not more than just to make things easier on yourself. if a boss has an enrage (ie the last 5% of patchwerk) you can throw Pain Supp onto your tank and it should last for most of the duration of his enrage.

also if there is a moment that you know you will be unable to respond, its a great tool to have.

@qustav37 dont use Silent resolve: thats a pvp talent. use improved inner fire, it increases ur spell power. all silent resolve does is decrease the chance your buffs will get dispelled, which is strictly pvp

@qustav37 Disc is an amazing healing spec that's more about preventing damage then healing damage. It can heal through 5mans just as well as a holy-priest would do. In my opinion it's easier to start healing as a disc, but mastering holy gives more satisfaction in the end. For PVP: currently disc is the better priest PVPhealing spec.

Im gonna say please save yourself the time and gold for gemming. What's recommended here is to gem for INT, which i did and had pretty bad results. After changing all the gems to haste based gems (only about a 180 drop in int for a 6% cast time buff) my priest was much better. << based off a 5.7kgs disc priest. Seemed like my gear gave me enough INT as the crit % and small regen and mana increase from 180 INT points was not worth it.

imo in 3.3 there is no reason to spec into rapture. I play a disc priest and i almost never go OOM when i start with full mana. so many different specs have major replenishment built into dps so this talent is not nessesary and can be used in the holy tree for nice, quick and fat healz
