YO Niel !- Is that a P90 pickup in the Neck and a Humbucker in the bridge? Look close people Gibson LP or Gretch? Ya we know it looks like a Gibson LP - But could be Gretch. and could be a county gretch humbucker in the bridge.
Any Guitar fanatics - What do you think.
I Love Decade and NY Live w/ Crazy Horse Electric.
@blackforestgf It's a Les Paul with a P90 neck pickup and a Firebird mini-humbucker in the bridge, there are loads of sites dedicated to it, search "neil young old black" and you can find out all the oddball stuff he does to his guitars/amps...
Rust never sleeps and Neil just keeps on playing! BTW, he wasn't so grounded in the 70s. He had a real anger issue (possibly because of booze) but it looks like he found his inner peace. He's in my all time top 10. Neil, thanks for the rides up Kirkwood Dr.
Thank you, Canada for giving the world Neil Young- he's one of the most gifted, as well as grounded, musicians alive today. He's been a major influence on my music for thirty years now, and I'm privleged to have seen him live, with Crazy Horse in 1996. I hope to see him again someday- hopefully on another Acoustic tour...
it really was good sound. way better concert than in malahide last year. i was buzzing for two days after it. this and pocahontas were highlights as well as rockin in the free world...of course!!
Great song, great evening. It's particularly worth getting as close as possible for these big gig-in-a-field things - sounds like the people further away didn't enjoy it half as much.
damn saw him in Malahide, amazing gig, and sooooo wanted to go to Hop farm, and CANNOT BELIEVE he played this.. Jealous is the word.. PEACE TO YOU ALL AND NEIL X
this gig was fookin amazin. cud'nt believe he played this title track off his debut. Only second to 2004 smile tour (Brian wilson), for me. Wot an incredible performer, and his voice his pitch perfect..
So glad I was there to see the ledgend. This song was a highlite for me. Fuckin makin me cry right now. Bitch ! Love you neil.
