@dopeboyz2111 The forsaken where orginally the Scourge led by the Lich King and when the Lich King was weakened, his hold on his undead armies was loosened by half. So the undead that were free from his grip, formed a new race under the name of The Forsaken. Lead by Lady Sylvanas Windrunner. She is in the picture because she fought for her home city Silvermoon against Arthas at the time and when Silvermoon was destroyed, Arthas bought Sylvanas back as the first High Elven Banshee.

@Timestopper117 Actually, no. The forsaken were betrayed by Varimathras and Grand Apothecary Putress. After this event, players can get the The Battle for The Undercity quest which (both horde and aliance) will fight to reclaim Undercity. But In the end, Sylvanas goes back in the throne.

Does anyone notice that the Lich King always comments that "This isn't over..." ?. It's like Blizzard's curse to all WoW players that evething in the game drags too friggin long. It never ends. Think about it. Lich King always escaped until the release of the last part of ICC, and what does Blizzard? Introduces a new Lich King!!?? There is nothing more but the raids that never end, Wars without a true conclusion, and lastly Blizzard gets the Big Bill, makes a new expansion and nothing changes.

OK this is wat happened...Sylavanas tryed to protect her home against arthas. Arthas kilt her and turned her into an undead puppet. She was in constant pain. Arthas's demon lords turned against him and Sylvanas was freed. She taught those who had a will of their own to disobey Arthas and eventually they became free.
