Quick question- you said that Derby has "high functioning autism", while another son has "Asperger's". I had always believed that they are essentially the same thing.. what difference is there?
@colorclown26 They are essentially the same in many ways. The label is used to help others understand the position within the spectrum. A big difference is usually speech and behavior when comparing. Aspies usually have no difficulty in speech but often have issues of anxiety and sensory overload. One can cause the other.
Darby is so cute. And he should be paid for his advertising for Wonderland as word of mouth is the best advertising. :-)
