  • i live in Combe Down

  • hahahah lolol kaboom

  • how about an airport?

  • dont be silly

  • hahah well thats all gone down the pan, the whole fucker blew up about an hour ago!

  • it hasnt gone down the pan

  • I think they should have gone for a more innovative design than Mock Georgian. I like the city's historical architecture but there is nothing worse than cheesy Mock Georgian!

  • @aboliston

The proper alternative to mock Georgian is actual Georgian, not modern. All architecture after 1850 reeks of desperate barrel-scraping.

  • What were they thinking of when they cam eup with the design for that bus station thingy? I live in Bath and i am 12 years old. I think they should put like a bowling alley or somewhere for e and my mates to hang around after school, coz the sports centre is only opn on weekends to us like when we can get there.

  • the southgate development looks good, the bus station is ok, in a way! will the bus station be on Dorchester Street or will there be an entrance to it?

    jd

  • That bus station has got to be the ugliest building this stupid council has ever permitted to be built in this fine city. I'll remember it well next polling day and vote accordingly

  • Nice music. Developmant looks tasteless though. The old Southgate was cool I don't know why they knocked it down. These regerations don't actually do any good. Look at Plymouth as an example.

  • They knocked it down because it was ugly, old, falling apart and not worthy of being in any city.

Of course regeneration helps cities, what a strange comment.

  • All this will do is add a no-go-slum area to the city. It is not wanted! People do not come to bath for this lack of character! In a few years, if this is allowed, the term Southgate will be synonymous with an area constituting the worst part of Bath for the worst people in Bath.

  • Skip to 4minutes, the music turns dark and ominous and what appears into view THE BUSOMETER

  • I noticed the busometer too. With such a magnificent shopping centre going up, which fits in with the rest of the city's Georgian architecture, it's a great pity they're going to have that ugly busometer on the corner of Dorchester Street. I live in Bath and am against the busometer.
