Personally i don't think you can really compare mr Oizo with Justice, 2 me Mr Oizo's music is a weird blend of your Dance electro, avant Garde experimental, broken betas and samples, with very rough electro base type desecration. 2 me Justice is more similar 2 Daft Punk, its easier on the ears, with the G.Duke melodies where as Mr Ozio is just a electro murderer lurking behind the back alley, with a boom box hammer, ready 2 bludgeon my skull a million times. Seedy as hell but i love it!

I use to beleive most of the French stuff was made with outboard gear. So i always thought that was some feat.

Now i know its all editing (or mostly) im not so impressed.

But its still unmistakenly Oizo and original.

Really just loads of chopped up disco.

He's very experimental and works hard at making his 'sound', but its all very simple software.

Im implying that the medium of software has made it an easier feat than setting it up all through hardware. Cubase is software, using a hardware sequencer to achieve these results would be a waste of energy.

He may be getting his sounds from hardware, although i believe its mostly samples, but the composition, sequencing, editing, even processing is done with software.

The French trick is processing ! I learnt so much myself just playing with vst processors.
