  • @iRiggers No that's how they pronounce it in America, in England they pronounce it Jag-you-ar.

The verb 'tire' has an etymology unrelated to the noun so lets forget about it. The noun 'tire' meaning the outer portion of a wheel was spelled 'tire' in both the old and the new world until the spelling 'tyre' was revived in the UK in the 19th century. So tire was first in both places.

  • Cock!

  • That gauge is notoriously not as accurate and reliable as many peeps hope it will be.

  • Who's the idiot who spelled tire. tyre

  • From what episode is this?

  • @chrismon0 This is from Series 15 Episode 1. It's on Netflix too, BTW...

  • I much prefer to watch the episodes downloaded from FinalGear . The Netflix and BBC America versions change the music and give you watered down edited versions, and I believe it cheapens the show immensely.

  • @snowyhessh Hmm, I'll have to take that into consideration, thanks for letting me know.

    Tire, means Bore, Weary, Sleepy

Tyre, means... Its means tyre, lol

  • @Zero7evenX tyre is British English, american English its tire.

  • @therealandycook Tyre is English, Tire is American English.

    I get your point, lol

  • @Zero7evenX OR Tire in English, Tyre in England English.

  • @Grimdopple No sorry, I'm English and I live in England, and I speak and write English, Its not British English, its English.

Its British English for people overseas, Its English English for the English because we're English

In England we're English first and British second, because England is the country I live in. Britain is a Union of 3 countries and the United Kingdom is a Union of 4 countries.

I live in England, I'm English and I speak English.

Do you speak the Queens English? LMAO

  • @Grimdopple Although you did kind of say that already.

  • @Zero7evenX i loved the part when u said english

  • @Zero7evenX That's too many English said in a very little space... but higher truth was never been told!

  • @Zero7evenX Needs more english

  • Comment removed

  • @Zero7evenX British English is English, and in fact that is the English you speak. It's kind of silly to call yours English and the other one American English but having a problem when someone reverses it.

  • @Grimdopple WHO THE HELL CARES???

  • James is the best.

  • Gotta love james :)

  • Bahahaha! That's awesome.

  • someone can let the air out of your tires with no problem :D now that's smart.

  • Does anyone know when the new series of topgear starts?

  • Comment removed

  • shitty toyota

  • @MrThatguy122

have you seen the expedidion video? you would think a little different

  • gee that didnt look planned at all.

  • "Cawk!" haha!

  • This demonstrates the need for a "patch hose" of sorts, which could be used to link two tires of differing pressures. That way one could raise the pressure of an over-deflated tire using the pressure from one of the others. Just make sure you don't mess up on the last tire.

Either that or a tire pump that plugs into the power outlet. That one works well, too.

  • but i remember seeing it on the original version.

  • lol....dont put that bit in...

  • Top Gear is....no more....

  • well, we didnt see that on uk tv james

but now the WHOLE WORLD can see you being a smart ass :-p

  • thanks top gear for listening to the comments!

  • Drop pressure in two tires at the same time... How hard can it be?

  • YES!!! This is what you guys should be putting up every day!!!

  • I think we all saw that coming (with it being called an outtake and all), but still funny.

  • Hehe :P James May \o/

  • My bike (as bicycle) is at 36 psi, and I need more!!!!!!!

  • Great ! Love the British Top Gear :) USA you can learn from this lol !

  • COCK!

  • hahaha

  • LMFAO

  • Captain incompetent strikes again!

  • 28PSI in those? My little Dodge Neon takes 32PSI?

  • @moriad02 yeah its because «balloon tire» have lower pressure

  • @moriad02 It's because when you're off-roading you need more surface area for the tire to get a good grip, therefore the tires are kept at a low pressure to keep it flatter for more grip

  • 4 lol
