Channa is the Indian name for Chickpea (I just learned that when searching Wikipedia for a good answer to your question!).
That video was shot in Ujire, in South India, but now I'm in Udaipur, more than 1000km north, closer to New Delhi. I'll be in New Delhi in a few days. :)
