There are plenty of articles like the one you posted about Yele but in regards to the red cross. You can google. Many executives that had to RESIGN due to fiscal mismanagement.
I'm sure they had their issues, most larger scale organizations do. It's impossible to have a perfect organization esecialy one that large that has so many different aspects to it, somewhere down the line someone's gonna f**k up. But as I stated previous, Red Cross and the military goes hand in hand, it's always been that way and I've seen firsthand what they do for our troops. So I know where my money is going...

As for the Haitian situation, it's a real tragedy, though I am happy many worldwide people are helping the cause. Despite that, I find it disturbing how many people put no concern into the Haitian problem, but more into their taxes. It's the epitome of selfishness.
I'm not exactly saying people aren't doing their part. I watched CNN all week and people worldwide are definitely helping the issue. However, many people that have no desire to help are more concerned with paying taxes, despite the fact the majority of money paid is given to the individual, even after tax deductions. I also forgot to mention the racism directed against Haitians that also comes in the package. That's what I find disturbing.

My sister has been telling me horror stories about things she has been seeing on the news channels. I am EXTREMELY sensitive so I try not to watch, especially when they keep showing dead bodies. I know that this is a relaity, but I think these images are disrespectful to the dead. I will keep praying because this could have happened anywhere. I wish I could go but i quit my job.

Thanks for addressing this situation. I am not Haitian nor do I have family there but my kids Dad is Haitian and they do have family there. My ex sister in law was there to bury her Dad and she is staying because she is a nurse and is volunteering with medical aid. It is important that we stay charitable it is part of what makes us humans. Blessings.

Couldn't have been said better....My dh and I donated to victims of domestic, violence, AIDS, Breast Cancer and many other charities..My son only gets a couple toys for Christmas so that we can provide for a needy family and kids unlike him that don't get or have year-round...It makes him feel so good and he is only 8 y/o...I donated thru my church fundraiser this morning..just turning on the TV makes me cry to see these poor people trapped and bodies just being dumped...Ok...Thanks Girl!!

well you must be a BIG saver, or a pro member or something. but honestly you're blessed. not many people can go out and buy things that they want and enjoy like that. I too was like that until I got hired here. I'm not trying to brag, and I mean I don't have a six figure income lol but it's nice not living off minimum wage, paycheck to paycheck anymore. 2009 was a good year when I was blessed to be hired for MAC. Hopefully we can say the same this year out of this crisis :(

I am too Haitian and I am so happy you posted this. I have alot of family there and glory be to God their ok. I pray for everyone that has lost someone there and I also pray for the rescue teams that are there helping. Remember this is not a Haitian thing but a humanitarian thing. I am so happy that the world has come together as one and are helping the people there.

Im from canada and i have a lot of family in Haiti ..unfortunately i lost family members and others are severely injured and cannot go to hospital and too see people like you who pray and donate for us really give me hope for my country..thank you soo much for your video xxx

Thanks for your condolences. I have family members in Haiti & we found out this morning that every single one of them are ok.
My cousin only made a 6 minute call, but she was able to tell us everyone was ok. Thanks for your prayers.

I am too Haitian and I am so happy you posted this. I have alot of family there and glory be to God their ok. I pray for everyone that has lost someone there and I also pray for the rescue teams that are there helping. Remember this is not a Haitian thing but a humanitarian thing. I am so happy that the world has come together as one and are helping the people there.
