@cornflakesnwater I don't really count, I go about it by feel, it's different for every finish on every instrument. I keep putting it on until it feels good for the instrument it is. Some get less than 10, others over 20.
@a7stringkilla made a box with a polycarbonate clear window, cut an access for the fan on the back, installed a thermostat with some kitchen cabinet halogen lights, a filter holder on the inside, a piece of chain to hang the bass from, that's it.
cool videos man. i build too but don't have any videos - i'm also a machinist / CNC specialist... 2 things, though... 1) spray guns have a 2 step trigger... first step is air, second step is material... always keep your air supply on when spraying... there's less trigger pull and less chance of the material spitting. 2) NEVER wear gloves on a drill press! I saw it in another video... if that glove gets caught it'll rip your whole hand off...

wipe on poly as a sealer and thickened epoxy as a filler, that goes on before the build and clear coats.
