I don't know why George Michael doesn't get cred for inventing the mash-up genre with this, now it's commonplace, but back then it was revolutionary to sing one song to another one's music.

Oh, and the vid's a masterpiece too, I too used to watch MTV Europe back then obsessively to make sure each frame is burned into my mind forever.
