i really have to disagree here, janne is incredibly talented but it is different styles. tuomas seems to better accent the melodic guitars, whereas janne does a better job creating his own melody. to me COB has just been getting sloppier and less of what we all learned to love

They don't sound alike to me. I like them both, but they are different. COB are some kinda power-death hybrid, Norther are just melodeath. I would say Norther are more like Ensiferum (not cus Petri is the vocalist there now, the music sounds alike, especially the first album)
