Hahah, I watch Philip Defranco because he was the first vlogger I ever saw, wayy back in 2008. Now it's years later and even though I really hate his sammich jokes and talk about boobs watching his show is too hard a habit to break. Also he occasionally has good opinions about stuff and things, sometimes.
Your imitation was spot on! I watch the Philip Defranco show because I like hearing another kind of news, beside BBC. It's nice to be entertained and hear about crazy/ weird/ funny news stories sometimes.
@JacquiRose92 Defranco Does Dublin was a real treat, especially for viewers who've been watching him for a long time. I was watching back when he was posting the Top 10 videos. xD
@macmarge I've seen references to him around, never watched his channel. I tend to avoid the more commercial youtube stuff. If I want to be informed about national and world news and entertained at the same time, I watch John Stewart and Stephen Colbert.
He's a normal guy with opinions that shares them while simultaneously telling me about all the stuff I didn't know was going on. (I like to hear other people's views on things.)
I keep watching Phil because it's an entertaining way to get my news. Sometimes I really disagree with some of his opinions though, and wish that he would keep them to himself, but hey, it's his channel and he can do whatever he wants.
I keep watching Phil because it amazes me on the things that i usually feel strongly opinionated on Phil does too and I agree with almost all of what he says which is crazy to me. But mainly because i love his face.
I actually really enjoy watching Phil ... yes he is opinionated and we are all still wondering when he and Lindsay are ever going to get married, but i find him entertaining and an excellent news source .. i really cant be bothered watching tv and i still need to be connected with news and this is the best way i can find :) ... plus who can go past the WTF * type ppl :)
I'm not a fan of most of the biggest YouTubers. I hate to be a part of the "they sold out and only care about Google paychecks" chorus, but I have to. I've noticed that Partnership (or having the goal of Partnership) really does change YouTubers, some for better, others not. That's why I haven't cared to watch more than a handful of his videos.
