  • I cannot watch this. Before this video i was waching Media Sirkus show and that was WOW , damn , whata control and when i looked at this it was like joke you know! Damn these dancers should show some respect for the Media Sirkus!

JABAWOCKEEZ crew name shouldnt be here.

Sorry , im not good with my english !

  • Man the level of ignorance and stupidity is amazing. You have to respect legends, these guys were pioneers. Maybe their stuff isn't as good or as "cool" as some of the stuff today(which isn't true imo), but they set the foundation.

  • Lol No one can dnce like the jabawockeez, JABAWOCKEEZ FTW ! ^.^

  • people don't know what they dont know....MS played a huge role in the bboy scene...whats the point of hatin on them?..none of the haters commenting here arent as successful as MS OR Jabba...respect the culture..stop hatin or take it to the floor

  • GUYS!!!! MS inspired Jabbawockeez

  • respect for jabbas... but seriously if u know just a bit about dancing and hip hop culture you ll would never even think that medea was inspired by jabbaz... what a joke... they are one of the biggest head of popping and boogie in the history of dancing... so original... peace

  • yeep! its true!,, they're inspired by the Medea Sirkas..

Phil "Swaggerboy" Tayag, Kevin "KB" Brewer, and Joe "Emajoenation" Larot began performing as a trio called "Three Musky" while wearing white masks and gloves. The mask and glove motif was adopted as a tribute to the 1960s San Francisco strutting crew Medea Sirkas.

  • Peace,

This is Zulu Gremlin from Medea Sirkas.

This is why this footage is so horrible-

moments before we went on the producers said we had to cut our 6 minute show into 3 minute. We had to cut out a lot of the steps. Crazy.

    As for Jabbas,

I have known all of them for years. Rainin came up at my event Pro-Am, they are my dudes and they have said on stage that they are inspired by Medea Sirkas.

I hope the world can understand that the old school taught the new. Ask Jabbas about me.

  • @zulugremlin

Whats up Zulu Gremlin.. i just wanted to thank you for being such a huge inspiration to jabba and to the dance community as a whole. Joe from Jabba has told me about how motivating you guys are and have been.

Thank you and the rest of the guys for reals.

    God Bless

  • whoops fucked up on that one. gotta stop hitting those bowls

  • whats up with the title. inspired by jabbawockeez? retards due some research.

  • @coolamigo101 it says inspired the jabbawockeez

  • if you trash medea sirkas then you don t know nothing about the dance evolution!they we re leaders, noone made before what this dudes did!expression crew and jabbawockeez we re inspired by medea sirkas!did you think that the new dancing stiles came from nowhere without an inspiration???stupid douche kids, step away from mtv for just a sec and watch history channel!you only know justin bieber lil wayne and krumping shitheads

  • if they would have enter abdc they would have killed it. i mean they have been around since the 70's. but yeah thats awesome how jabbawockeez were inspired by these guys. awesome

  • Why do you guys have to be so annoying? Jabba inspired me. MS inspired Jabba. So what? What's the point for cm all the shit things about them? You know if you're a hip hop addict, you should realize it shouldn't matter who was the pioneer, they're legend and talented. And some of you, why did you call yourself as a Jabba fan if you didn't know this? I'm a huge Jabba fan, I didn't see this really be an issue. Waste too much cm for this bullshit. Respect JabbaWockeeZ and MS y'all

  • most of these people commenting on these clips piss me off! motherfuckers don't know shit!!!!

  • medea sirkus is truly an inspiration..jabbawockeez too..this is the evolution of hip hop..we are not suppose to hate to whom that have talent..keep supporting and think positive..i'm inspired by jabbawockeez..and jabbawockeez were inspired by the medea sirkus..it happens u know..the world is round..

  • lol we got some internet dancers who don't know shit unless they see it on ABDC. these guys are legends, strutting (they're style of dance) has been around for 40 years and countless people have ripped off routines from Medea Sirkas. get your facts straight.

  • one of my fav groups of all time(also inspired my former crew)....off the records are goo gobs(a bunch) of crews that wear mask at some point, medea sirkas, expression crew, prepix and jabbawockeeez and i can go on and on....but to this day, its still funny to me when somebody wears a mask and dance everbody says there copy jabbwockeez

PS...who was founded firts expression crew or prepix

  • you think it's dance???

  • fuck the haters!.. basically you people dont know shit!.. medea sikas' style is old school.. WTF did you expect??!!.. stupid ass haters!.. the style AND the look came from the medea sirkas.. i aint no jabbawockee hater.. for the fuckin haters out there.. know your history.. before you start spittin crap!!..

mad respect for medea sirkas and jabbawockeez...

  • Thats not Jabbawockeez... Looool thoose are loosers )) and noobz

  • middle one fucked up the group performance

  • I can see Jabba getting their inspiration from this, good point, you gotta appreciate the roots as well as the current

  • good answer. what with James Brown who did his famous side-by-side sliding, and Michael Jackson take that same sliding effecting use it in a moon walk. Though one was inspired by another it is also good that the inspired developed on what or who they were inspired by.

  • suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuccccckkkkkkksssssssss!!!

  • Theyy Suckkkk.

  • Maybe they've heard of Demons of the Mind, but thats because these guys were huge, especially in the 70's, one of the greatest strutting groups. Jabbawockeez don't do this stuff.

  • their crap??

  • well, they may have inspired the look and style, but at least JBWKZ makes it look near flawless.

I had to stop watching after 15 secs. (on all their vids).

  • these guys have been around since tha jabba been born. the jabba is good, but if you really appreciated beatboy, or as you may call it, "break dancing," you wouldn't be dissn MS. stupid ABDC makes everyone think they know shit about "hip hop" dance.

  • @lepm0

It makes everyone that DOESN'T dance think they know.. i'm hoping there are some newbs that do their homework. !! =)

  • @wallyxcore god this comment is old but it just pissed me off.

  • wtf one of them is missing

  • Fuck they doing?!.

  • Of course these guys inspired Jabba. Way more than just the masks.

And don't think this is their best performance. Check their other clips, these cats are Legends.

Jabba is dope and it doesn't take any thing away from them to give these OGs their due credit.

  • they have been around since way back when, but i think they were alot better before.

  • Who made the title to this video ? These guys have been around since the 70's. They were once called Demons of the Mind.

  • Why can't people just stop hatin'? MS, Jabbas etc. they are all talented and great! why can't people just appreciate these guys? If that is the issue here with who's 1st and whose not, we probably can't trace the origin of this dance and their style. And I won't be surprised if ADAM and EVE already killed this move since B.C. so what's the point then?

All of them has their own version and what they try to represent and the passion they gave to their craft is far more important. Peace Y'all!

  • the orgin is beatboy.

  • inspired by jabawockeez!?!

    you mean inspirors of jabba

  • lmao

  • Really gay even for america.

  • yeah dude this guy knows whats goin on.

jabba didnt inspire these guys. these guys were pioneers!

  • lol @ elitist jabba fans. you dickriders DO know that this group was started around the mid 70s? People from jabba weren't even BORN then. And FYI Jabba DID get the idea for masks from MEDEA SIRKAS (spelled wrong in vid title). It's ironic how ignorant jabba fans are considering jabba members themselves know their shit.

  • oh really???

i always thought they took the mask idea from expressions crew

since they bboy'd i guess that they knew em

  • @TheRealist ya mc was doing this befor it was a COOL THING

  • @TheRealist Sucks because Jabba can dance better lols

  • dope

  • great video, these guys are amazing, ...

the root of the concept, congratulations.

  • the original masterminds...

  • These guys have been doi8ng this for a very long time.

  • shit

  • Wow the amount of hate comments on this video is crazy. Especially since most of them are Jabba fans. Who do you think inspired them and gave them the idea of the masks?

  • What even more crazy is that Jabbawockeez didn't even customize the masks that they wear. Those exact masks that they wear have been around from wayyyyy before they even got popular.

  • the worlds most poorely written comment

  • Chafaaaa!!!

  • IDIOTAS!!!

  • where was this held?

  • wtf are tey doing man.... just dont dont respond me ill guess it ...-.- lol lmao

  • Nice.

  • most of the comments here nub these guys have been rockn since befor most of us were born i do admit this wasnt one of there better performances.I like there performance at b-boy summit 99 and there were more keep rockn

  • bahahaha, i Love these MTV fanboys that are all over JabbaWokeez nuts!! Media Sirkus AKA Demons of the mind are a dope ass crew that's been rockin since the mid seventies, and the style they're doing is called Strutting.

And FYI, MS were the first to rock masks, NOT JABBA!! You all are a bunch of NOOBS!!! lol

  • yea these people sucked so bad

  • sucks,t

  • fate abbastanza cagare!!!ahahahahah

    I can't look at you!!!

  • Comment removed

  • they are no jabbawockee

  • shit dance..

  • wat d hell????????

  • AMERICAS SHITEST CREW!

  • I just don't want to say anything about the dance part, 'cause there was none, but the song was way trippin'. Does anyone know what song was that?

  • gay i rekon

  • when they said best dance crews did they really mean it?

  • That was actually pretty good, i mean music was wierd and so were the outfits, but it was synchronized 90% of the way, and the single poppin and lockin was pretty crazy, they have potential... funny as well though but cool cuz its different!

  • That was off the hook! You guys are trippin!

  • Is this a joke?

How could this be the best of anything?

    The best of the worst?

  • LOL

  • lmao, i actually thought this was ok, but everyone else seems to disagree with me.

  • Umm.... that could indicate that you are wrong.

(duh!, eyes roll... chesterhopings1 is such a dork)

  • well it could, but, seeing as how ppl are only hating on them because of the comparisons with jabbawockeez, it could indicate that im the only one speaking the truth.

(haha, i could never be a dork, sorry.)

  • @chesterhopings1 You're right. Don't take it too personally. They're missing a member I think, but same way, these guys are amazing. Every single comment except the ones that are owning them, don't know shit about the past and $5 says they don't know shit about the history of Bboy to even know these guys are champs of their time. I still found it pretty sick. So dont feel like you're hate, bro.

  • i dont get it this is garbage

  • lol...wha was tha!!??? is that kind of dance?? lol whoooo!!!! tsk tsk tsk..

  • dis sucks!!
