Well a fast burner is cotton string slightly unraveled and a black powder paste (id try alcohol as the liquid) and mix it in the string and tighten it again. A slow burner uses more KnoIII. You can use a shoe string for this, rinse it in very soapy water. then mix in a glass bowl, one part potassium nitrate and one part sugar and two parts water. Mix well and then soak the string or shoe lace in it well and then set to dry.

@djleesamuel You can take thin strips of toilet paper and roll them up like a string, then take matches and take the head of the match off, the red stuff, crush it so its almost a powder then wet it and roll the toilet paper string in it, let it dry then there you have a firework fuse. hope that helped ;)

DUDE my friend made one of these in a folgers coffee can and it weighed like 3 pounds and lasted for like 10 minute, but you need four long fuses in a square shape then twist them together, for 3 pounds you can still throw it really far. I forgot to video it and I thought of this and think you should make one for yourself and tape it so we can see
