What other tricks do you have OP? Send me a msg at my user name at gmail. So youre the computer nerd huh? LOL j/k i need more tricks like this........hit me up I have a question about folders on Windows.....
Coolest thing I learned this week!!! Awesome and ty for saving me money. All you doubters can keep doubting and use Ypops which is garbage! LOL people not beliveing this works. For the iphone I tried iphone and it didnt work then tried apple and voila! OP did you really fihure this out on your own or did that comp nerd you hang out with figure it out? How is yahoo going to know the difference btw the phone mail and outlook mail? Its the same exact imap/smtp so the answer is they wont.
@bkrealtypro They won't figure it out. And yeah, I figured it out myself. I'll make a new tutorial on my new computer which should be here shortly... Plus I gotta build it myself.
Holy crap...It' works. I have an iphone and I still typed in the exact same info in this video and it worked!!!! Thanks so much I was ready to just pay for it to have. I have 10 email accounts and 4 are yahoo. Now it works. Also works with Microsoft Outlook and Express and Thunderbird. Great vid!!! DON'T BE FOOLED WITH YPOPS that program is a pos.
My man thank you very much! I fuckin' love you for what you did! It really works! I need it cause, 1.) I don't wanna change my e-mail. 2) I want to receive Yahoo! e-mails right straight to Windows Live Mail without being a member of that fucking bullshit of Yahoo! Plus! For what you've done, I RATE and SUBSCRIBE :)
Ha ha... Don't believe any crap like this. It's all fake and if it works for a while, it will eventually be patched. There is no real way to crack programs, set up stuff like this for free, or whatever you're looking for.
Companies like Yahoo learn about every flaw in their system and they're fixed. And if someone finds a way to do whatever they want to do, they won't share it on YouTube.
@xXxKingofAllKingsxXx This isn't a flaw... Samsung payed Yahoo to have it's customers be able to check their Yahoo Mail on their phone without the POP not allowed for user message. I'm using this right now on Outlook 2010 and it works perfectly.... I don't understand you're problem.
Look buddy, I'm not here to start an argument or anything. I just don't believe half the things I see on YouTube that deal with computers and getting things for free. I've learned the hard way with some things, but you can't trust anyone you don't know some things.
I'm not saying that you're one of them, but there's a lot of jerks and cruel people out in the world that will make fake programs or whatever and screw stuff up for other gullible people.
(Just enter to your mail settings in your phone and copy the servers and there ports and whether it user encryption "Password" or not, and put it in you mail application)
For outlook 2010, follow all the instructions until you get to the ports and ssl stuff. Set it to defaults and tick the "my outgoing server requires authentication" and it should work.
actually wen i go for port 465.....it ASKS FOR CONFORMATION OF MY USERNAME ND PASSWORD.....i wrote my username nd passwrd...but it agin reappears...nd so on.....
@diegodaudt hi. thanks for sharing! :) I successfully configured my yahoo mail using the default ports 143 for incoming server imap and 25 for outgoing smtp! then under outgoing server, I ticked My outgoing server(SMTP) requires authentication!
hey i did everything you said in your video but when i do the test account settings, the send test email message fails. any clue on how to fix or bypass that message?
@cartman7610 Glad it helped. Mind though, that Samsung's servers aren't that great either. You might experience Outlook saying "Cannot sync with IMAP servers" Just press hide, and it will be able to transfer your new emails to your Outlook. I've had mine for a while and it doesn't do this anymore, however you might have to wait like a month or so for it to fully function as if you were using Yahoo!'s PLUS service.
Alright guys, watch the new version. Link is on the description and on the video itself. (Annotation)
