  • why would they disable ratings ??

  • Yes I miss the simple times too . I miss romance and simplicity . I am not a hip hop or Idol fan . There are no movies like this or stars like this any more . But yes Jack Jones is still alive . My Rolling Stones Albums have taken a back seat to music like this

  • Jack Jones is still happily alive

  • Thank you so much for this! I've been wanting to hear the full version of this song (and I want the film to have an official DVD release).

  • Beautiful song aptly sung by a equally wonderful singer. The movie was unforgettable!

  • Beautiful indeed... both the Movie and the Song.

They don't make them as then... anymore. Sigh...

I have the Movie in a factory produced VHS, an original LP and CD.

  • Oh, I love this song and also the movie!! Natalie and Steve were Wonderful!!!

  • @annalovesfilm They just don't make 'em like Natalie Wood anymore! I'm 30 and I just love this type of music. It's just so relaxing and romantic in the most noble and purest sense. Wish I had a De Lorean to go back in time!

  • bells and bangos

  • How lovely is this? beutiful music and so was the movie takes me back to when life was so much easier to live when we had time to smell the roses and going fast was 50 mph.

  • @critchley3819 ---- Honey, if going fast for you was 50 mph, then you're in the wrong time zone. You're talking about the 1930s. They were born in the 1930s. They weren't adults then. Going fast in Natalie and Steve's time was more like 80 mph. I know - they were my generation. Steve raced cars and motorcycles. He did his own stunt driving for Bullitt.

  • Many thanks for this. My favorite version of the song is the instrumental one at the beginning of the movie. This is great, too, though.

It's ridiculous that such a gem of a romance still isn't available on DVD.

  • Another Oscar-nominated song introduced by Jack Jones. The film was, indeed, one of Natalie and Steve's best, adapted from Tennessee Williams' only comedy.

  • Ohhh Natalie, I miss you, & Mr Jones, your voice was gorgeous, & we miss you too. Wolfsky9

  • so sorry how could I forget Jack Jones.....his voice is perfect and the picture of Natalie at 2:05 is stunning.....

  • a beautiful song from this wonderful film......one of Natalie Wood's greatest performances.....thank you so much for this lovely tribute to this much overlooked and forgotten film.....great pictures of Natalie & Steve McQueen

  • Beautiful song from a first-rate, and underappreciated film. Oscar-worthy performances by both stars. I've looked for this on YT before. Thanks for posting.

  • gone forever and forever remembered
