Jesus IS Jehovah of the Old Testament .He is Father in creation, Son in Redemption and Holy Ghost in Redemption. 1 Tim 3:16.

The jews wanted to kill Jesus because they fully understood that there is only One God, that's why they tried to kill him as mentioned in the book of John.

Check out Philippians 3, even go to the Old Testament in Deuteronomy 15:7,Isaiah 44:8, Zechariah 13:7, Acts 2:30 Jesus is both Jehovah (in the old testament) and Christ in the new. Just a few scriptures there...

Having read some of these comments, i'm sorry to say that you're all wrong. If you look in the bible, you Will find that the word Trinity DOES NOT EXIST (minor detail).

More importantly if you check through your history thoroughly, you will ACTUALLY find that the whole concept of the Trinity stems from Babylonian Pagan worship from Nimrod in the book of Genesis to conterfeit The Plan of Salvation first mentioned in Genesis 3:15. The Shemah which the Jews understand is that there is ONLY ONE GOD.

but their logic doesn't add up to the whole passage. Bottom line and not to shame anyone. Those who do not believe in Christ Jesus as the Son of God and that He is indeed God is guilty of the same sin as being disobidiant as the lost and their fate is also the same. Jesus is Lord of All. False Doctrine? Question for those who say Jesus is not God. If Jesus is not God then who made this world. John 1 " in the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. He was in the Beginning with God. All things was made through him, and without him was not anything made that was made. Now alot cult's like Jehovah's witness don't belief in the deity of Christ. @MDefsquad9 Hi, I am not sure if anyone has responded to your question or of your religious background but one statement/belief of Christianity is that Jesus is God. He wasn't just a good or great man that has revealed God to us. It is a difficult concept that I honestly struggle with at times but the Bible and learning about the Trinity (God, Jesus, and The Holy Spirit) helps. Hopefully this helps and I would love to discuss the topic more or other questions you may have :)

Jesus Himself allowed the woman at the well to worship Him. @MDefsquad9 Peace is a good thing :) I could very easily point you to John 1:1-3 (Jesus’ role in creation), John 20:28 (When Thomas calls Jesus his Lord and his God), or Revelations 5:11-14 (a great time of worship). Overall I realized that it all comes down to who Jesus is to you, what has he done and continues to do in your life daily. John 20:28 u have to understand the difference between Lord and God when he said. number 1 the Bible was translated into English/Latin back then. Number 2 Lord was widely used a lot by nobles,Kings,Priest,or people who have done something in High rank,Example:My Lord Bradford,Lord William. So he was saying to Lord Jesus in that content and referring to God too(My Lord and My God). so thats two beings. not one.
