Personally, I ADORE John Barrowman and I think he has a beautiful singing voice. I heard him first from The Producers when he sang Springtime For Hitler. :) And my love for him has only grown and this was only a few weeks ago! ^^

But seriously, JB is absolutely amazing; he has a GORGEOUS smile and as an actor and person offscreen, he is an amazing person (not that I've met him personally; I totally wish I could :D))

Every artist puts their own twist on a song - John has decided to "enrichen" this song with a "smooth" sound. @luniasta I think I have to disagree I defiantly hear that full and lush timbre that is so common in all Johns singing. I don't really hear Elton here. Maybe if you listen to some of Johns more lyrical work, this would sound more like John.

@luniasta It's John. Elton John sounds a LOT different. His version is more pop. John's version is softer and has a lighter sound. Elton John's version is better and nobody can top what Elton John did with the song so I have to give John credit for trying. He has an amazing voice but he doesn't always pick the right songs and the right arrangements. If you want to see a really great one he did check out Amazing Grace-Loch Lomond. It's sketchy in the beginning but it's fantastic in the end.
