my dog hated the water but loved my wife and when my wife was in the lake having fun he had to come to see what the screaming was all about then after that you couldnt keep him out.... keep trying without actually forcing or dragging him in.... foods or toys may work and it may start with a walk in the downpouring rain when he cant avoid the puddles... good luck

took my white bully swimming once, there were a lot of mosquitos that day, he got allergic reaction a few hours after the swim. I don't know if it was the chlorine in the water, or the mosquito bites that day. I'm afraid of taking him swimming again.

My wonderful Bull Terrier could swim like a BRICK!!!

TWICE I had to go in after him as he sank whenever he got into deep water. He was extremely fit though and had a LOT of muscle.

@jmsaxmantha2nd You can change his behavior, incentivating him to stay near the pool, try to use some food he likes. And it's slow, try this exercise a few minutes per day.

the one i have now is a little like beautifull kaya above, we dont have a pool but she loves water so much i bought her one of those clam shell kiddies pools, she loves it bribery will work to a degree with any bt, but if she really hates it i doubt she will come around

My Bull Terrier had her ears up about 60 days of life, but it depends of the Bull Terrier line blood too, i heard about some lines who has the ears up only with 6 months.

It's only about trainning and a lot of patience for this kind of trainning.

You can use a guide and attract her for the water with any object she likes.

The idea is make of this a funny play for the dogs.

But remeber to have a lot of patience on this trainning.
