Glad to see the Postal series coming back. Hopefully it will be good..but I doubt it. Seems like if it takes around 5 years to do what teenagers can do in 6-12 months by modding existing games...it is definitely a bad omen! As much as I love these games (bought and played every single one) I think the guys at RWS sit around smoking too much icky and don't do enough worky!

postal II was a masterpiece, i hope they don't ruin the game(s) like 2K did when they basically muzzled illusion softworks and made mafia II a pathetic, boring, unoriginal, cut content-galore, overpriced nightmare of what it was supposed to be. sorry for the comparison, but i hate it when creative franchises go downhill. the graphics, peds, synchro, motion capt. and everything in general in the postal 3 videos look outdated. not vintage, just old and boring. it's a shame!

I must say, the graphics looks like crap... but the fact that you can pick up a severed arm and use it as a weapon sells this game for me. Honestly when it comes down to it, graphics don't really matter. It's not current Generation graphics, it isn't next generation, but if the gameplay is as fun as it's looking, I'll buy it day one. 3rd person movement is less precise than 1st person movement. at least that's how I feel.

And that is mainly because you have to make the character move in a "realistic" manner, that means that a step forward has to have a certain length and there is more inertia involved when moving. It's also more difficult to shoot because aiming is weird from the 3rd person.

That's why it certainly was a bad choice to go 3rd person.
