  • IM GONNA EAT YOUR FUCKING CHILD!

  • Ned ? You Rock Dude.

  • historians agree rumpelstiltskin represents judaism, at least stereotypes of jewish travelling tailors/mercants

  • I love Shelly from the Shining!

  • The king was played by Ned Beatty. The same actor that played Otis in Superman: The Movie ("Yes, Mr. Luth-ORRR!!")

  • I writing a dragon ball fairy tale story that takes place 8 years after rumpelstiltskin, and he's the main villian. I thought I'd listen to the story to get a feel of the characters in the fairy tale world.

  • I can hardly believe that Ned Beatty kept his pants on throughout the scene. Guess there were no boys present.

  • "I don't even know how to spell it!"

Well, honey, you're not the only one.

  • Dumbledore, is that you?

  • the gay wizard is a really, really bad actor. The worst!! He ruined this movie!!!!!!!!

  • @neverbeenfree He's supposed to be the straight man.

  • @neverbeenfree really? i laughed at him, i thought that was part of his character that hes just a big idiot.

  • cool

  • Is it just me, or when she is introducing the story, she looks like she's very very very tired.

  • This is THE MOST unbelievably womderful story...OMG if we could somehow manage to go back in time, to our "former" lives...wow...such beauty and mysterious wonder.

  • The late Emile Ardolino has directed a lot of popular movies: Dirty Dancing, Sister Act, Three Men and a Little Lady, the filmed stage version of The Nutcracker, and the televised Gypsy with Bette Midler.

  • is she wendy?? wendy from the shinning??

  • that woman is in the shining !

  • Holy effing nostalgia bomb. Last time I watched Fairy Tale Theatre I was about 5 when we would rent the vhs's from the library.

  • This is probably my least favorite Faerie Tale Theatre episode. I just don't care for it very much. The script is not very well written, and the casting is mostly unmemorable. That's just me though. I mean no offense to anyone.

Shelley's introduction here is different from the one on the original Playhouse edition.

  • Well Garrett, that's your opinion. Let's see you make a better one.

  • I SAID it was just my opinion. Did you not read my entire comment?

If it makes you feel any better, I will say that I think Villechaize is awesome in this.

  • This was a staple of my early childhood. Hansel and Gretel scared the shit out of me.

  • Lol .. "scared the sh......"

All children and some adults could use such stories to escape physical reality and sharpen their imagination to recreate a new reality in their lives.

FaTaTh, tx for this funny upload.

  • @Zeno1999 uh is the prince the hell on wheels guy?
