This song is classic Ace. You find a gem amongst some questionable songs. He may not be remembered as one of the greatest song writers ever but for me he has some memorable songs. Shock Me and this song are awesome !
Ace is definitely BACK!!! Being a classic Kiss fan (from the 70's)....Kiss tried to capture the 70's feel with sonic boom---they should've played back up on Anomaly!!! This IS Kiss' sound........

How in the world can you people say that this Ace album is better than the new Kiss album sonic boom. There is no way he is better, and you know it. Now listen to his boring regular voice. Then listen to Paul Stanley's voice it is way better. There is no excitment in Ace's voice at all. Paul's voice has excitement and attitude, and IT MAKES ME WET!!!!!!
I'll give you that Paul's voice is better (I don't know who wouldn't) and I do wish Ace had used Tod Howarth for a couple songs but the songs on Anomaly are better than the songs on SB.
And I'm not an original members only guy I think Revenge is AMAZING, but Anomaly beats SB hands down.

I think both Kiss and Ace's albums are the best that they've done in years. I do prefer Ace's a little bit more, but Sonic Boom is still a very good album.
First off I will say I absolutley love Ace Frehley!!!
He is the reason I learned to play guitar, but I think Anamoly could have been so much better.
There are some great moments and peices on this new CD but overall it seems to me to be quite disjointed, loose and unorganized. I wish Ace had used an outside producer on this project. I think he could have used an outside ear for this album. I am not doubting Ace's talent at all I just feel sometimes it is good to hear another opinion.
This CD is epic. Ever track I have heard from this one is pure gold. It sounds like it came from a musician heart and soul. Unlike the KISS Empires Sonic Boom that was made to make more money with so Gene could act like a big boss. I think as an artist Ace made this as he felt like he wanted to make it. This CD touches people deeper then the company one.
The new Kiss album is basically a tribute effort. Gene is too busy making people wanna watch his absurd life on A&E. He is such a stereotypical money monger its disgusting....he has lost the true essence of rock and roll and its just obvious that this is a fresh and fun effort by Ace. Much anticipated and well worth it!
Is that really Monique? That´s so sweet from Ace. He had his daughter singing on Dolls back in 1987 and now on this song. And the lyrics, I just couln´t hold myself from crying you know...
This is a beautiful, brilliant song. The bit where Monique comes in, is cheesy to say the least, but somehow it works. By the time the drums kick back in - it's an absolute triumph. Ace is a genius!

because ace is singing pretty honestly, warts and all. if it gets cheesy like this song does, it least it's honestly cheesy.
paul is a fine rock/pop craftsman, songwriter and rock's best frontman, but he's never expressed an honest, autobiographical thought in his songs.
