he has reverb on it and prolly some chorus...and the fans dont help...theres no way it was that much out of tune when he played it live...as a guitar player id FLIP if my guitar sounded like that...haha

I have to agree with some sort of audio technical difficulty. A guitarist of this level would curdle if his guitar was that much out of tune. I suspect what we hear is NOT what the guitarist was hearing. Ceiling fan is a good guess. Badly mismatched microphone or recording system perhaps. I really don't know but this guy can really play. I bet there was a ceiling fan overhead. I can't imagine a guitarist of this caliber playing so badly out of tune. An overhead ceiling fan will give you this effect of sounding out of tune, just like when kids speak directly into a fan.

its possible, but that generally throws the whole guitar, and not selective pitches. The guy is a great guitar player, dont get me wrong, but that sucker is badly out of tune.
