@Warhammer40k1561 I also have a great grandfather that witnessed and survived the Attack on Pearl Harbor. I don't know too much about him, aside from that he was in the Navy. My uncle Pat's younger brother, Son, served in the Navy as well; except, in the European Theater. He survived the war as well, later working with Werner von Braun at the RedStone Arsenal in Alabama due to having degrees in chemistry I believe....I've got others, but nobody really knows much about them.

@Warhammer40k1561 I have a lot of respect to your grandfather, to anybody who's served; Vietnam earning the most because of the treatment of returning vets. I have several family members that served in WWII. All of them are dead, but I've learned a lot about some of them from my other family. My great, great uncle Pat was in the 82nd Airborne Division, just like in this game. However, he wasn't a paratrooper; he rode the Waco gliders instead. He survived the war, but died of bad heart in '56.

@Warhammer40k1561 That saying is too true. We won the war. So what? The veterans deserve every last of our respect, but that doesn't mean that they're heroes JUST because they're American. I mean, I can understand if you're talking from the point of view of somebody alive in the '40s, even fighting the Germans or Japs. America's trend was racism at the time. It's very understandable. It wasn't until they captured or ran into a German soldier at only 16 years old that they started to transition.

I'm sick of people calling all German soldiers of the '40s "Nazis" and mistaking the North Vietnamese Army and Viet Cong of the Vietnam War the same exact faction. It's really annoying, and makes me not want to play online--because of how ignorant gamers are of reality.

I like trying to play the entire level with the snipe riffle. Run & gun is fun(but too easy). Slow & stealthy lasts longer.

Nice series of videos. I'd like to say you have very nice cooking skills (grenade wise). However, it is just about off-setted by your slow sniping and slow aggression. Use a semi-auto rifle, like the G43 or Garand.

dude i was thinking about that since cod2 came out. i wish they make wwii from german perspective during early stage of war when they were winning(best under afrika since rommel dint affiliate with nazis) or follow a soldier trying to survive in losing battles.

@sandiego48 I totally agree. They always portray the Americans as heroes and as if all German soldiers were greasy, baldheaded, Nazi brutes. That's why I hated Saving Private Ryan. Because Steven Spielberg is Jewish, he can't portray the Germans as they really were. He can't make them look positive in any way. They weren't Nazis. A good majority of the Germans in WWII hated Hitler. My uncle's a former Wehrmacht Infantry reenactor and has a degree in history by the way ;)
