More than likely they were isolated or had interactions with other wives who were in the same situation. Strange looking or not, they had the children at full term and had a bond at birth. This is a good thing to educate people about this. At the moment there is a lot about ships, aliens, disclosure etc however this is the first to really break apart the abductions part by part.
