You notice how everyone licked shots at RZA for the new direction he went with his production here, but the next year peoples' beats had guitar all over them? RZA is so ahead of the game, everyone else is struggling to catch up. Best Wu album so far, as far as production goes. " The Heart Gently Weeps" is definitely is definitely in the top 5 Wu songs of all time... till the next album, anyway.

@coleon8 Yo, I appreciate the info. Thanks man. Yeah, like I said, I'm not super familiar with her work. It doesn't surprise me that I didn't recognize it. It's really rare to hear RZA use a sample like this, though. Usually, if he uses samples instead of live instruments, He'll sample one note from here, and one from there. I remember in The Wu Tang Manual he said it took him something like 60 to 70 samples to make an average 2 bar loop during the 36 Chambers era.
