Fovvler, are you some kind of idiot? "Hacks" of video games take the original game ROM and modify it directly. They not only use the same engine as the game itself, but every single aspect of the game itself, editted to various degrees (almost always simply on a graphic/layout level, with serious programming knowledge required to make even slight changes to how the game 'works').

Also, how DARE you imply that Super Metroid is a "crappy" game. If that's really your opinion, you need fixed.

i haven't seen any fusion or zero mission hacks, i figure there are at least a few but like you said they are crappy and i discount them out of hand.

we're talking about this specific hack though, and it is built in and around the original super metroid. the original super metroid is an older engine so regardless of when this hack was made, it would still have that old game "too much at once" problem.

i would like to see that metroid sr388 fan made game engine but i think they gave up already
